OK It hit me! One little sentence and it HIT me like a TON of bricks!

I AM GETTING MARRIED

FH and I were driving in the car last night and he just casually says.. 'ok well I just want to put a little bit more money away for a house before the WEDDING' .. and I just bugged out! Starting sweating!!
I didn't realize that it just never hit me before that I was getting married!!!!!!!!!!
Has this happened to any of you yet????

Yes!!! There are certain times that it hits you more then others!! It's weird how it happens, your not alone.

I had a moment last night when FH was registering for a work convention and listed me as his emergency contact - that was a first!!!!

Oh yea!!! It's happened just a few times but when it does it is like OMG, I'm getting MARRIED!!! Sometimes it's really exciting and other times I feel like I want to throw up.


I suppose it's the 'bridal right of passage'

The time it hit me was when we booked the hall. The day I made the deposit he couldn't come because of work and when I called to tell him that it was 'official' I started crying and jumping for joy screaming

I think it hits hardest when someone casually mentions 'the wedding'. It has happened to me and IT IS FREAKIN WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!

This happens everyday... I always thought I would be one of those single ones forever... and I have those moments when my FH starts telling me things he wants for the wedding...

On Easter it reallllly hit me when I was introduced to someone and he introduced me as his Fiance' ~ I almost fell on the floor... (I just never heard his say it so I was freaking out)

and also I always feel like I am also looking at my hand ALOT...

Awww I thought it happens to us all. For me in was when I tried on dressesfor the first time. It made it all real and I got butterflies and kind of sad. I think i'ts a nromal reaction, you're life is changing!!

It hit me all right. But not when doing any wedding stuff. It hit me when FH started looking for houses and areas we could live. It didn't hit me right away, but when you have another new house in your email inbox every day, it starts to become real!!

I know what you mean. So far i have doing the planning alone. i guess in my mind i've been planning a one woman wedding!! It wasn't till he and I went to see the priest together for the first time that it hit me that I was planning a wedding for two people and that I was marrying someone!!! It was kinda wierd!!!

i have had the just kinda outa the blue experineces. it's the little things that you get the butterflies and all excited and cant stop smiling and the other one that all you do is cry like knowing it's the last christmas in your parents house thinking about walking down the isle and seeing fh..

It hit me last night. I was on the phone with FH and we were talking about how today is our one year mark. He said 'We're at the home strech now' and I got butterflies in my stomach.

Everytime I hear the wedding march now, I start to cry.. and trying on dresses the other day was SURREAL.. and I am approaching the 1 year mark and I am like, HOLY CRAP!!! it's so weird!!!!

It hit me when my childhood best friend and MOH text me 'Oh my god Sheri YOUR GETTING MARRIED' I was like Holy Crap...I'm getting married!!!
