Ok it's kind of early to ask but....Halloween parties

I was thinking about having a halloween party at my house. Other than food and alcohol what else could we do? Games or other halloween activities??

I'm only going to have it if it's going to be more than just a whole bunch of adults hanging out....need ideas!

BOBB FOR APPLES!!

OR...do a scavenger Hunt....around the town....a few groups in cars....differnt clues to get them to differnt placeds, different things for them to pick up....these are SOO fun..uised to do them with my youthgroup....and since it is so early, more planning time....and you can have everyone bring a covered dish, supply the booze, and after the hunt, you can all party in your costumes!!

Hmmm the scavengar hunt sounds interesting....
It would be like the amazing race! LOL

Ive had a few halloween parties.

The key is making everyone come in costume b/c people dont like to get dressed up if tehy feel like they might be the only one. So demand that!

Then really decorate your house. Put spiderwebs everywhere, get a fog machine, etc.. It puts people in the mood.

We didnt do any game (my friends would not be bobbing) other than the typical drinking games that happen at a lot of parties....but its definitely more than just hanging out when everyone gets into costume.

We used to have huge Halloween parties when DH was in his apt.

We also did a black light instead of regular light bulbs (also red bulbs are kind of cool)....then out of yarn we made a huge spiderweb and painted it with laundry detergent so it glowed in the dark... also with the laundry detergent we wrote 'scary' things on the wall and it cleans off easy...

What we also did was made punch...(any kind will do), and put in dry ice (its safe to consume). It looks like its a foggy kind of punch, especially if its dark.

The fog machine was big hit and also scary, creepy music.

Have a contest for the best costume, it motivates people to come in costume... have people vote before they become too drunk!
