Ok.. Its official.. we think LOL... NOW WITH PICS

So DH and I have been weighing out the possibilities of moving to Florida.. (I know what a time to think about all this, with all the hurricanes)...

So we went to Florida to visit with my parents and to do some job hunting and look for a house.. well... We ended up finding an apartment, and DH got a job offer the second day we were there... The apartment called yesterday to tell us that we were approved and we could move in...

So now it looks like we will be Floridians as of Nov. 1st! Ok.. I am VERY EXCITED, but a little apprehensive... Just a fear of the unknown kind-of thing... I wanted to share this with you all for more of your wonderful 'Moral support'... I really need it about now, cause my emotions are worse now then when I was preggo.. (dont worry I'm not ) ... and my family thinks I am a little crazy for deciding to go.

I will miss them all, but financially I just see this as the opportunity we need right now... TIA for any imput...

ok... i am gonna try and post picsthe apartments themselves, and the pool...

We are moving to Clearwater and looking to build a home within the next year or two a little east of there.

Nice area. My BIL lives in Jupiter. My SIL lives in Boynton Beach. My IL are in Boca Raton. My brother is in Deerfield Beach. My parents have a condo in West Palm Beach. They are all over south Florida which is where my DH wants me to go but I don't want to leave my family and friends. GOOD LUCK

Dh's family is right over there, in Palm Harbor.

We were (are) seriously considering moving there, too.

DH & I are also cosidering moving out of state. We are not goin as far as Florida, but I understand about moving away from everyone. I say it is better to not have to struggle to make ends meet. It is definately cheaper there and there is plenty to do in florida. Just becuase you are not withing driving/walking distance from your NY friends & family doesn't mean that your relationships wil diminish. I have many friends & family all over the world & we all talk on a regular basis via e-mail, phone & even snail mail...I think you & DH will be fine.

Go for it! Change is always a bit scary at first, but is a GREAT thing! I would take the way Florida welcomed you with a job and a house as a SIGN that it is meant to be!

We are going to move to North Carolina after the wedding, and I hope it is as easy for us to find a home and a job!
