...and I know I am not alone..but I am sooo sad.
I was in a conference rm here at workk this am listening to the kids calling the names, the bells ringing and it all just comes flooding back....

no surprise to you veteran posters here..but Im in tears. (I guess I would be the one voted most likely to cry at the drop of a hat!)

just wanted to feel the love out there.
I know you all are very supportive of each other...even though we can disagree about the memorials...so I just wanted to send out a hug to all of you.

Thanks ladies...
NEVER FORGET DAMMIT!

I'm sad too. I thought it would be good to get out of the house so I made a trip to San Gennaro, but stopped at Ground Zero 1st to say a prayer. I thought the service would be over when I got there but they were just finishing up the names. I have never seen the city so quiet and somber, then they played Taps and I lost it, I had to leave.

My friend and I walked through downtown and didn't say a word. I still can't believe what happened there....

to everyone today!! Today, I kept repeating in my head the memory of my dad taking me to his job at WTC for the first time when I was a little girl; it was such a wonderful memory and it still is!!

Today will always be hard for me. I witnessed both of the planes going into the towers and the towers falling. I was in a building across the street. After seeing the second plane hit we evacuated the building and ran for our lives. I thank god everyday that I made it out safe. I also remember 2 delivery people that were delivering us breakfast. The coffee shop was in one the WTC towers. It was because of us that they were not in the building at the time the plane hit. They must have had someone looking over them...........I think this year is harder for me than last. Maybe next will be better.
