I would like to see all the stuff you talented ladies can do/have done, DIY, etc.!!!! Knitting, crocheting, sewing, needlepoint, anything in furniture design, perhaps some DIY outside of wedding oriented, but I'd like to see both!!! Pics, please!! Mary MOB

Re: Ok, ladies!!! Who's holding out on us?????
Well, heres what I'm working on right now...a wool afghan that I actually started it back in October, before I became obsessed with the wedding DIY's. Hopefully it will be ready for next winter
Wedding DIY's are in my album; the only ones that are complete are the programs; the rest are prototypes that are a little messy.
Most of my crochet projects are gifts for people, I should take pictures, but I just dont.

I had a hunch there were some more talented ladies on LIW!!!! Like your avatar motto, Sharon!! You should take pics!! I'd love to see them!! How big will your wool afghan be? It looks cream colored? Very nice!! Another thing I'd like to learn!! Oh, wow, the second pic, looks like a baby afghan I received for my Daughter, Donna. Mary MOB

Haha, thanks! Crochet is a passion of mine, hopefully after all this wedding nonsense is over I can get back to it. The blanket will hopefully be big enough to cover the bed. The scarf was actually an experiment. I made an afghan for my niece made up of flower squares stitched together. I was testing different patterns, and really liked this one..so I made a scarf for myself!

Re: Ok, ladies!!! Who's holding out on us?????
I've done some wedding stuff. I'm usually not crafty but I've been loving diy's. I'm also a chef so for gifts I make infused olive oils and cookies/crackers and such. No pictures yet though. Here are some pics of my unity candle.
I am also working on my guestbook now and I plan on making my card box.

Can you get them in Michaels, or do you need to go to a knitting store? Where do you sell your things? I have thought about selling some stuff on ebay but I dont know how much of a market there would be for it on ebay.

Re: Ok, ladies!!! Who's holding out on us?????
Sorry girls, I was working on laundry!! Wow!!!! So much talent!! Sharon, I really like the pink flowered design!!!! Christine, wow, you're multigifted for sure!! How long have you been sewing and painting? And cake decorating too!!! Heather, you're another DIY whiz!!!! I knew you knitted, but I didn't know you used a loom. Is it easy? Love the baby blue knit set!!!! Colleen, I think if you have a flair for cake decorating, I wonder what other artistic talents you have! Perhaps you haven't even discovered them, yet!! I'm like Christine and Heather, in the centerpiece/ floral design. I never knew I could do stuff like that until, I tried. Brianna, you totally have my admiration because I'm not gifted in the cooking realm. How did you attach the ribbon and brooch to the candle? Hot glue everything? Or is the brooch sewn to the ribbon? Did you make anything else shown in that album? Mary MOB
