ok ladies...going to start sorting thru my stuff ........

and get it together to move to FHs!! wish me luck lol im not moving in till after the wedding but i figured id start

i figured i can do it little by little lol bring a few boxes over at a time........

if i dont check in with you in an hour....send in a search team...this room is a mess!!!:

if u need boxes go to a starbucks.. findout when their orders comein and snatch them.. they are big and foldable!

i hear ya...i spent all weekend cleaning and throwing things out...FH and I move into our apartment may 3rd and i just do not want to have to do all of the cleaning and sorting right before...it is truly amazing all the crap one person can accumulate over time

FH and I have to do the same at both of our places. I think this weekend we'll be doing some Spring cleaning.

We very well may end up keeping my place to live during the week and going to his place in LI on the weekends.

Good Luck!!! FH started move some stuff - little by little into my place (although he too is not moving in until the wedding). Great idea!!!

its gonna be so hard to decide what goes and what comes.....im a pack rat and i hate throwing things away. Im gonna have a yard sale in like a month and ill use all the $$ towards final payments!

After you move a few times, it's amazing how much less of a pack rat you become.

I already started doing this also. I packed up mostly everyhting and i only have my clothes left. That should be interesting though. I have 3 huge closets in my paretns house where I am now and I have to go down to 1 big closet. It's gonna be hard!

Really, Debbie?? I told Fred, to go to the liquor store, because we use to get boxes with cut out handles in the sides, to pack stuff for going to/from college. I'll remember the Starbucks tip, and while I'm at it, I'll pick up some of that delicious lemon poundcake!!!!! Thanks!! Mary MOB

Heather, I'm so excited for you!!! Moving for me has always meant a new clean, place, a new start!! My house is a MESS!!!!!!!!!! I don't let people past the front door, because I'd be embarrassed!! What can I say, it's one of my bad points! I use to be able to stay up all night, and clean, clean, clean, but now that I'm 58, I can't do it anymore.
Hopefully, after our Son moves, and takes his college apt. stuff, and Debi moves May 1st, and takes her stuff, that she couldn't fit into her current apt., I'll have some room to play around with. Before Grandson can sleep in his bed on weekends, I have to move all the stuff off his bed. The wedding stuff has now progressed to the living room!! Mary MOB
