I can hand stitch but never had a sewing machine...would love to know though....that way I wouldn't have to pay to get every single pair of pants hemmed because I am so darn short...LOL

I used to be able to in home and careers, but I remember my teacher would be on top of us really bad to make sure we didn't go too fast and snag the fabric...we would get 'speeding tickets' if we had too heavy of a foot!
I always got speeding tickets, because my foot is too big, eventually it collapses under it's own weight and then it's pedal to the metal time

I can't sew or work with patterns... but then again I never had a home ec class either. Instead of sewing i use safety pins! Which can get dangerous! You have to sit very carefully!

Oh, Jennifer, my Mom has that problem!! She's 4/10 what with her osteoporosis. And I don't know if it's me or not, but I've been buying petite slacks, because Misses are way too long!!!!! And I'm 5/6. Mary MOB

That would make for a good comedy, a room full of girls, speeding, and a teacher not knowing who to ticket first!!!!!!!!! Mary MOB

I can, but not that good. WHen I was younger my mom taught me how to make Barbie clothes. I made a few but they were so freakin small and hard to make and I gave up.
My mom is awesome at sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc. She is almost done with her dress for the wedding!!!
