Ok, looks like we're finally getting somewhere

Ok, looks like we're finally getting somewhere

It's been a slow process, but we're slowly weeding the group of halls down. It looks like after seeing Westbury Manor, Sand Castle, and Larkfield Manor a second time, we have narrowed it down to a field of 3.

My impression of Larkfield was MUCH better this time. The first time we only peaked our heads into the room, and I didn't get to see how nice it was. It has round tables, its very bright, and is really very nice. Our only concern is the bridal suite being a little small, and the cocktail hour only seats 85. But for a saturday night in Nov/Dec they are $80pp++.

Westbury manor was just not our style at all. But if you are looking for a traditional feel, it would probably be perfect for you.

Sand Castle, I really liked the room, L thought the medival theme was just too much for her. I kinda had a feeling. They were also at $95 a person for Saturday night.

So given that, I'd say we narrow it down to 3.

Larkfield Manor
Jericho Terrace
Villa Lombardi (which is in the running because we haven't seen it yet, and are going monday)

Any positive experiences(or negative) with Larkfield?

I went to a wedding there a couple of months ago it was wonderful!! The food was great and the ballroom was beautiful. The cocktail hour was a little small but a lot of people wnet outside even though it was very cold out. The cocktail hour had great selections. I love the lobby also. Adds to the elegance of the ballroom. Good Luck and Congrats on almost getting there

I just have to say how awesome it is that a guy is on here and really asking for suggestions and putting in input. That rocks and I wish you and your fw the best of luck.
