I just emailed like 20 farms on LI looking to buy pumpkins in bulk for the wedding next year. (my cp's are made out of pumpkins) and place card holders are gourds. These people probably think I am a pumpkin obsessed freak...emailing about pumpkin prices a year in advance...for a effin wedding

suggestion...look into fake ones!

apparently there is a pumpkin shortage this year (i heard it on news, idk)...but some of the fake ones just look as good

if you had like 1/3 real and 2/3 fake, im sure no one would notice

i am planning on getting fake ones too...they are like $30/each though ...i was hoping to get some cheap real ones too

We bought a bunch of pumpkins in Lancaster, PA off a little farm a few weeks ago. There were a lot of farms selling them but the pumpkins were great and we didn't pay much at all. I don't know if you are driving up from Florida for the wedding but if you are I'd look into driving through there if you can't get a great price.

I love the idea of pumpkin seating cards. I love pumpkins. I used them as favors at my e-party.
