Okay, so i havent said a word to anyone really except fh a few weeks ago. Im having dress doubts and i havent wanted to even say it outloud cuz then i would feel like its true, kwim. And more importantly, my wedding is now a few days short of 3 1/2 months away and i dont even know if i could get a dress in that fast and budget too (but i just thought to myself today that i would ask my mom to put it on her cc and how could she say no, lol...)
im just never happy when i think about my dress and i get sad to open up any posts even about dresses cuz im sad about my own.
soooo
i need to know first if you think i could possibly get in a dress in time for fittings, i guess i would have to have it by march 18 at the very latest. (i would pay a rush fee of course)
and secondly, can everyone tell me dress designers that are within the price range of $800-2K (i have a maggie now so i know they are but i need other designers...any and all you can think of)

What about another Maggie? maybe the salon would let you do a dress re-select from the same designer? What is it about your dress you are unsure of?
ETA: that, I totally blew the budget on my dress and think you need to be happy. Just make sure you are sure - I wouldn't think its a good idea to go into credit card debt because of it.

go to the bridal shops in queens. on northern blvd theres soo many in flushing..
also try alexandra boutiqueon austin st.
and they can DEF get ur dress in ASAP
coworkers daughter ordered her dress @ RK bridal 2 days b4 xmas and her dress will be in jan 11th!! it IS possible.

I don't know if you could get a new dress in such short time, but you could definitely buy a sample if you're willing to.
I know Jasmine dresses are def in that price range, and obviously you know that Maggie's are. I believe also *maybe* Demetrios and Allure?

i would try on the dress one more time ... if you still don't like it, then definitely find another dress.
David's Bridal actually has some very beautiful dresses that are fairly affordable ... they're just not brand names.

My dress is within that price range and its Blue by Enzoani.
If you're having serious doubts I would go and look at your dress again. If you're really not satisfied with your selection, then I would ask the people if they could apply any money you have put towards your original gown towards a new one, and also see if there are any particular gowns that could be ordered and arrive in that short of time. You only get to do this once and if you're dress really doesn't make you happy, then I say try and change it! Good luck!

not that i hate my dress or anything but its the style. everytime i see a style that is like that fit n flair, i think thats what you call it. like not a mermaid but it has a low dropped waist and then it flairs out a lot (so like a ball gown type deal but not from the natural waist) i LOVE that style and when i see my current one, a full a line, im just not as happy. and the last time i went to try on my dress, i wasnt that wowwed by it, i wasnt in love, ya know.
when i was trying on dresses, i made the mistake of only trying on one type of style and never gave any other a chance.

awww Lorin I am sorry you are feeling this way. If I were you I would just go to a salon and start trying EVERYTHING on it that price range. Who knows maybe you will find you actually DO love your dress, and just think there *could* be something better and there isn't.
Don't waste anytime! Just go and do it. If you want to meet after work one day we can go together just let me know.

i'm sorry you're feeling that way! even though you really like fit and flare dresses in pics maybe you should go try on one before you start trying to get a new dress -- you may find that you hate it on yourself!!
not that my opinion is the one that matters, but i think your dress is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! i love the detailing!

I am sorry you are having doubts. It *****!! I doubt everything, and am already doubting my dress that we just put the depoist on
I think all the girls so far had good advice. Try it on again; if it's not what you want, start to look around and see if there is something else that makes you
You have to follow your gut and make yourself happy. Maybe you can find something else where you got this dress from, so you won't lose the money?

Lorin! I love your dress - you should go and try it on again and see how you feel - did your dress come in, because once your dress is the correct size, I think you will fall in love with it all over again
If you must Enzoani and Enzoani Blue dresses are 1500 - 2500 ish

I went to Lillette's and Found every dress I tried on was in that range. I tried Allure, Sophia Tolli, Casablanca, Jasmine and one other I can't remember the name though. ANd they have lots of different sizes to try on. I actually tried a fit and flair/dropped waist one on by either Allure or Casablanca and LOVED it, except my backside is too big, lol... I beleive a rush fee for allure was either 150 or 250, which isn't so bad. Good luck. And by the way, if thast your dress in the album, its gorgeous. But I know about doubts. I sat up crying the night I got mine with doubts.
