Okay, so i havent said a word to anyone really except fh a few weeks ago. Im having dress doubts and i havent wanted to even say it outloud cuz then i would feel like its true, kwim. And more importantly, my wedding is now a few days short of 3 1/2 months away and i dont even know if i could get a dress in that fast and budget too (but i just thought to myself today that i would ask my mom to put it on her cc and how could she say no, lol...)
im just never happy when i think about my dress and i get sad to open up any posts even about dresses cuz im sad about my own.
soooo
i need to know first if you think i could possibly get in a dress in time for fittings, i guess i would have to have it by march 18 at the very latest. (i would pay a rush fee of course)
and secondly, can everyone tell me dress designers that are within the price range of $800-2K (i have a maggie now so i know they are but i need other designers...any and all you can think of)
TIA!!! i love you guys and i just need your help

I felt this way too..so I got second dress on ebay cheap and made changes to it to make it 'my own'. All in all spent 200.
My first dress is Dere Kiang..the price range is great and my dress came in 6 weeks!!!!!
I saw their 2010 line and they have the type you describe.

ITA with Britt. I'd try on those other styles before saying anything to your salon. You want to be sure you're going to find something else. But I'd also go in and try your dress on again. I get dress envy with those fit and flare dresses, too, but we can't have it all unfortunately! Good luck!! Keep us posted!
You could also look at Watters or Wtoo dresses. Then there's Maggie, Allure, Demetrios, Jasmine, Alfred Angelo, Justin Alexander, Essence of Australia, Sophia Tolli, Mikaella, Blue by Enzoani, and that's all I can think of for now! Good luck!
ETA: Casablanca and Sottero & Midgley!

aww good luck hun!!!
You def have to love your dress and if it means changing your mind to make yourself happy and love it, then go for it!!
GOOD LUCK and I think most of the brides know designer names better than I do since I haven't even found mine yet!!
Maggies do tend to be in that price range though so maybe you should stick with that?? Or make appts at bridal salons and tell them what your budget is right of the bat so they can steer you in the right direction!

Maybe check pronovias. My dress was within your price range. I'm not sure about the time frame though.
I agree, call your salon first and see what they think.

awww I'm sorry!
I feel like you can def get a dress that quickly..if you're offering to pay for a wedding dress, i feel like most will take it.
I know Paradise Bridal had a lot of dresses in that price range, maybe go there?

you can buy very nice dresses off the rack at estelles in farmingdale. if you go and try stuff on just to feel it out, best case scenario you find a new dress you love!!! im so sad that you are sad about your dress. this sounds like something you need to get into motion over and take care of. if it bothers you this much, it probably wont get better and you will always be disappointed when you look at pics. best of luck!!!

First let me say that the dress you have now is beautiful, but if your not getting the feeling then I totally understand. Have you tried it on recently??
Also, my dress in a san patrick - most san patricks are in your price range.

I'm having dress anxiety as well and it *****!! Why don't you try and see if you can add, or change something to your current dress to make it more to your liking?? They can always change things around that's their job! If that doesnt work out look for sample sales or trunk shows. Im going to a trunk show on the 16th for Rosa Clara. Pronovias. FM if you want more info! GOod luck

Re: Ok, need dress help ASAP! Pleassse help me
I had doubts with my first dress that I bought last week. The reason I had doubts was not because it wasn't a beautiful dress but it would mean I had a lot of weight to lose to fit it and as much as I loved it....losing weight especially in the hip area is the hardest so I didn't want to take the chance. If I didn't lose weight in the hip area it wouldn't fit me right and would look off. Good Luck! Follow your gut!

Mori Lee...you can rush order it online if you want. Here's a website:
http://www.boutiqueful.com
It says the shop is in Fresh Meadows.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm sure you will look beautiful in whatever you decide...

Would you consider a pre-owned dress? It's hard bc you can't try them on, but people post their sizes on those website and they have such a large selection.

You need to do what makes you happy. Dresses can come in in3 months. and alterations can be done. you can buy off the rack, sample sales, etc. you might even want to try kleinfelds.
IM IN THE SAME BOAT AS YOU. I BOUGHT A DRESS LAST FEB, now I hate it and I plan on getting a new dress.
