OK, need the POWER of LIW!!

My mom is unable to eat anything that has wheat and gluten. So, for my wedding I would love to have a special cake made just for her that she can eat. I want her to be able to have wedding cake at her daughters wedding. I just don't know of any gluten free bakeries, I remember someone telling her about one in St. James but he couldn't think of the name of it.....so if you ladies know of ANY at all I would soooo appreciate it. I don't care where it is, city or LI!! Thanks so much!!

Check out Marneycakes.......She's in Oceanside and I believe she does gluten free cakes.

my friend had a gluten free cake for her mom at East Wind - I emailed her to find out where they got it from!!!!

Ok - she said her mom got the cake at the local supermarket.

This way, she was able to eat the cake, but not spend a fortune from a 'wedding cake' bakery.

look for a 'wild by nature'... i think there might be one out in Huntington. they cater to GF. whole food might as well. GF is getting much more common and its easier to find stuff (one of my best friends is GF).

or babycakes in the NYC that someone mentioned.

Her prices are very reasonable also. I am lactose intolerant so Im probably going to have a mini cake that no one can see that FH feeds me. I dont wanna get sick on that day!
