ok, people have said that i should write in pencil on the back of the person's RSVP card their 'number.' so when they come back, it will be easier to check them off.
should i be doing this?

Better safe than sorry.... you never know who might just pop the response card in the mail without anything indicated.

I did. And while no one forgot to put their name (that happened to my friend) it made reading some people's chicken scratch a-lot easier!

YES! I gave a sample RSVP to my dad as a trial, and all he did was check yes and provide a number...he didn't put down his name !

I did and we did get one back without a name. It's also easier to find the name on the list since their in numerical order.
