OK ladies. I kinda though this was coming but one of my cousins just dropped out. She's in TX anyway and although I don't want to jinx her, its for good reason
So ok- should I ask my FSIL, who I get along pretty well with? We're not like BFF or anything but I can definately see us being the SIL type people that actually interact with each other.
Other option is to just pair up 2 guys to 1 girl....what do you think???

does fsil know that you already picked a bridal party previously? If so, I wouldn't...I wouldn't want her to feel like an after thought, ya know?

If I were in your position I would leave it the way it is....Your fsil might feel like an after thought and that could be problematic (although you know her and how she would react best of course!)
Go with you gut instict...Good luck either way!

yea see the thing is...I would straight up tell her the situation and let her make her own decision....her husband (dan's brother) is in the wedding party too and they could walk down together. I really don't think she'd feel slighted at all....but who knows....she might not want to

I would ask FSIL if you think she'd be OK with potentially finding out she was asked later.

ok thanks for the advice everyone...I'll talk to FH but I think I'm going to take her out to lunch and ask her...I hope she's not insulted....now you got me all worried

i picked #3 lol it was funny but seriously do what ever you want....she is gonna be family so its not like it s a random friend u r throwing in to fill the gap...it is someone u will have contact with forever. If you want you can just have the last 2 girls walk in with the last guy...either way is fine. my BP is totally uneven lol 7 girls 4 guys so i will be pairing up you do whatever u feel u want to do! good luck!

I'd keep it the way it is....
I dont know the situation...but I wouldnt ask someone unless I knew in my heart that I reaaaaaaaallly wanted them up there with me. Does that make sense?
I'd ask myself why I didnt already ask her...ya know?

I think you should keep it the way it is now. Do you think your FSIL would feel like an afterthought? That would be my only concern but if you want another person then definitely ask her.

I lost a bridesmaid as well, and even though the dresses are bought already ( by me) I'm not plannign to fill the spot...I wouldn't want anyone to feel they were asked just because..

I don't think it would be a problem to add FSIL but I like to keep things simple and probably would not add anyone.
