OK random question time! Its a game!

OK random question time! Its a game!

Ready, set, GO!

I guess I should explain. I am proposing a game where the first poster asks a question, then when you answer you ask your own question, and the next person answers that question and poses their own....to keep it going and going!!!

Sooo my question is:

When you were little, at what age did you want to/think you would get married?

A: I always thought 25. and I'll be getting married at 24!

Re: OK random question time! Its a game!

When I was a child I never wanted to get married. I eventually did at 24 because everyone said it was 'time'...me and my ex had dated for 6 years. Big mistake...long story. I finally now, at the ripe old age of 38, feel like I really want to get married.

Question...If you could have any musician play at your wedding who would it be? I would have Bon Jovi!! I love them

Ah ha! As as I reading your question I already answered Bon Jovi before I even saw youy answer lol. So yes I would want him to.

Question: If you had to narrow it down, what is the 1 thing at your wedding that you couldn't do without?!

If I could have a musician to play at my wedding, it would be Morrissey~i love him, I'd just be afraid he'd depress my guests.

Question- what has been your fave part of planning do far? Mine's been the whole designing the invites part

I would love to have DMB play at my wedding!!

If you won the Mega Millions a month before your wedding... what (if any) is ONE thing you would change about your reception?

Re: OK random question time! Its a game!

Ok...being a very 'budget friendly' bride I think I have carefully chosen everything for my wedding. I am only spending money on things and vendors I love. But the one thing I think I couldn't do without is the DJ...he's awesome.

If I won mega millions I would definitely book a honeymoon with just me and FH in Europe. As of now we are having a 'family' honeymoon to Florida...not so romantic!

Have you been surprised with your FH during the wedding planning process? I have...he is so much more into the details than I thought he would be.

**ETA My favorite part has been being able to do everything my way It is all my vision....with a little help from FH, and it's great!!

Re: OK random question time! Its a game!

Ok I'm gonna answer the last three questions:

one thing I can't do without: my gown! I love it!

fave part of planning: hair and makeup trials! oh and e-pics!

mega millions question: I love my venue but if I had the money to go for a similar space but bigger I would - there were a whole bunch that I didnt even look at because of hefty site fees even before the ridiculous per person price. My venue is a great compromise but a bit small!

I have been surprised by FH! He has been more involved in some things than I expected!

I forgot to add a question:

If you had unlimited funds would you still have gone with your gown? If not, which designer/gown would you have loved to go with?

Ummm no not really surprised with FH. He has been the way I expected him to be. Helpful with some things, but I do the research and finding a couple options and then he picks out of those options. He surprised me when he suggested we look into the church option more, and we are now getting married in a church which I'm happy about.

Who has been the most helpful with your planning? Were you expecting this? Who did you expect would help you more, but hasn't been a part of the wedding planning process?

**and megamillions...HONEYMOON!!!!! Italy...Greece...then Fiji/Tahiti for like a month :) I wish!!!!!!

Re: OK random question time! Its a game!

My gown only cost $399 on sale...he he....so yes I think I would have definitely gone with another gown, maybe even have gone for the Kleinfeld experience, although I really do love mine!!

FH and I are the only ones planning everything, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

ughhhh helpful - most, my planner! no one else has really been helping much!

i thought my mom would be more so but its hard cuz she isnt here. i also thought FMIL would be more helpful. she's involved but always makes me anxious and questions my choices

so basically its me and my coordinator doing it!

Forgot a question....how long have you been planning your wedding? Would you have wanted more or less time to plan?

A: We have been planning since January, so it will be a 8 month process, which I feel is perfect for my because with too much time to think about things I would make myself crazy!!

Re: OK random question time! Its a game!

We got engaged in Dec...and getting married August, so it will 8 1/2 months. It's perfect for me. I would have liked shorter actually, but my sister is in Australia until June. I like getting things done, and not having too much time to question myself. Plus, I just want to marry him already hehehe Wouldn't want a long engagement. I'm already antsy to be wed!

Do you feel things changed when you got engaged? How?

Re: OK random question time! Its a game!

hmm good questions:

our engagement will be almost exactly a year, and i think its a good amount of time for me. i would have liked to do the wedding in sept or oct but we have too many other things those months

i do feel things started to change when we got engaged. i feel much more like a unit/family now, and i feel as though others see us that way too. we are definitely coming into our own as a couple!

question: if you could have your HM anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would go on an African Safari, or to Figi/Thailand but FH is a bad traveler and vetoed those ideas.

If I could go anywhere on HM i would go to the beach in thailand and bali.

If you could could make it so your pet could talk for just a day, would you have him/her preside over your marriage ceremony?

OMG...Love this question!! I have two doggies and my FH is totally in love with them. I swear he's marrying me for my dogs! I would totally have them preside over the wedding...as it is I am having a custom cake topper made with them on it so I don't leave them out!

Re: OK random question time! Its a game!

ok new question to keep it going:

what would a deal-breaker be for you? something FH could do that would 100% mean the end of the relationship?

mine: cheating, hitting me, hitting the dog
