I HATE it, it suffocates me. I went for my first fitting last night, and the seamstress said that I should buy a strapless bra, which she will sew into the dress. Is anyone doing this? I think I remember seeing a few threads about it, but I can't find them and can't remember the discussion.

my seamstress is actually sewing the long line corset bra into the dress so it will stay in place. I hate them too but unfortunately i have to wear one. Thankfully the one that I'm wearing is semi comfortable though.

I'm just having cups sewn into my gown. My dress is sort of a corset already. I tried it on yesterday for the first time and it felt great, just a little hard to breathe!

Oh, Im so glad Im not the only one who felt suffocated! haha. I looked great with it on, but omg, I was thinking the whole time that I couldn't wait to take everything off! My back hurt after the fitting!

I was just thinking that the other day... I opted out of the corset for my sisters wedding because I could breathe and you feel like you can bend in any direction, just straight up the whole time. My dress is corset like but I haven't decided which was to go yet. I would like a longline seamless bra. Do they exsist???

Can someone tell me why you would have to wear one, opposed to just a strapless bra?

I was going to , so it can hold in my fat and pushes up my boobs

I just feel like mine doesn't let me tie my dress as tight as I could if I didn't have the boning from that contraption stopping it. Maybe I am losing it.

She said I needed the corset, but I think it's also because she sold them.
I have a final fitting on Saturday. I am going to try it both ways.
