Yes, bubble wrap doesnt make a mess and is a stress reliever rather than a stress creator.

Ugh!!!! me too...I had ordered everyday dishes for a a friends bridal shower...I received five different boxes all packed to the brim with those damn peanuts...it took FH and I two hours to sort through all the boxes (to make sure nothing was broke and everythign was there)...by the time we were done there were peanuts scattered all across my driveway...what a mess

Yea, those things are annoying!! I used to work the Shipping dept. My company recently switched over from using peanuts to packing with airbags. It's sooo much better, no more customer complaints!! Yay!!
It's good to have a roll of packing tape handy when opening those boxes. The peanuts stick to the tape really well and then you can just throw the whole mess away!! HTH!!

I love the airbags! Use just pop them and throw them away. Those freaking peanuts can fill up your garbage can.
I just ordered glassine envelopes of off ebay - and the little mailer was filled with peanuts! Why???
