Ok, so i got home today and ... TREES!

OMG like 7 little christmas trees now lined up in my drive way.

I was this.....tempted to call up the landlady and asked why I got pine trees?

anyhow.. It made me laugh so I had to share. Nice trees. I hope they survive.

In Fh's backyard a few random plants gre aong the fence, I don't know if they were plated there by the former 1st floor people, but they are cute. I'm wondering if the people on the 1st floor (who have yard rights) will let me plant anything

I got no planting rights (im upstairs) but there was a plantpot outside our door when we moved in. It had dirt in it and was mostly used to put out cigarettes I guess... anyway.. a really healthy weed is growing now. Nearly 6 inches tall!

I don't know about our platnign rights b/c when we moved in the 1st flr people were moving out and the landlord's daughter was moving in and it was decided that we would be able to basically use the yard whenever, because they were also a young couple w/ no kids and they didn't mind at all. That changed and this other lady moved in with her daughter. They're really nice, so I don't think they'd object, but at the same time I feel weird asking, what if they really don't want us to, and just say yes b/c they don't want to say no?
