the other day and it was about a girl who was getting married within 2 mnths... her whole life was pretty much together,,, great job nice apt and great fh... well she went on a business trip to italy and totally fell for a stranger who she met there... ended up cancelling the wedding and marrying the guy she met in italy...
what are your thoughts on this ladies

I would HOPE that I would stay with FH. I don't even think I would be able to hurt him like that. I also wouldn't give another guy the time of day to even impress me in the least.

I dont think I would ever leave FH. I wouldnt let the opportunity even happen...
Though I have nightmares that he goes somewhere and meets some beautiful girl and breaks my heart!

I dont believe that you are 'meant to be' with one person. I think its an insult to anyone thats every lost someone and fallen in love again. I think its possible. Would I be looking to do that? no...but if i fell in love with someone else, I wouldnt just stay with FH out of obligation. That wouldnt be fair to him.

1st of all - I want to see that movie!
2nd, I cant imagine my life w/o FH. cant even imagine letting someone else to touch me. If I was in that situation I would still be w/my FH, not out of obligation but b/c we have so much history together and he is my 'person' - we have a whole life together established. I dont think being in love is the only component of marriage, there are much more to it than that IMO.

wow... even if i met a complete stranger and had feelings for him, i don't think i could be without my fh. i know it's so cliche to say, but fh is my absolute best friend and there's just no one in this world that makes me laugh like he does.

i think that everyone is different. sometimes you marry someone because its a good time and you are scared you won't meet anyone else, and you can fall in love with someone other than your sig other and other people are in love when they get married and life experiences and the way people deal with those experiences makes things fall apart and they don't stay together. sometimes, those people break up and fall in love with someone else as well.
for me, i don't believe i could ever be with someone other than fh. i love him too much and even though things are rough now we are still madly in love and since you can't go anywhere but up, i think we're good for the long run.
