Ok tell me if this is wrong....alittle long

I got engaged 6 months ago and my best friend just go engaged almost a month ago. Anyway its the coolest thing ever to be planning your wedding at the same time as your best friend....but here is the problem.

I have not picked out my BM dresses yet. I have pictures of 3 dresses that I love..but as we where looking for dresses for her BM tonight I tried on a dress that I LOVE and think I might wanna get it for my girls now. She is not going with it because the color she wants does not come in the dress....so my question here is...even though she is not going to use the dress do you think its tacky that I want to now???????

The more I think about it, it seems like no big deal but I just wanna see what you girls have to say.

If she has no interest in having it, I don;t see any reason why you couldn't use it.

I say no big deal. . .but maybe just mention the possibility to your friend just to get her take on it. . . you can approach it in a way that flatters her ego for picking out such a great dress in the first place Good Luck!!

I don't think that should bother her if she doesn't want to use it... wouldn't bother me!

As long as she definitely isn't using it, why not choose it? In fact, she'd probably be honored you chose one of the dresses she looked at! If it makes you feel better, just ask her whether or not she would be offended if you used one of the dresses you saw while helping her. Plus, it seems like she already likes the dress style itself...is she one of your BM's? That could work to her own advantage.
