Unfortunately I wasnt one of the lucky people that got laid off. I know that sounds wierd to say, but If I knew now what I know about this company....I would of wanted to be one of those people that got laid off.

We realized that DH was one of the lucky ones by being laid off 2 years ago...

almost like they paid him to look for a new job...which he wanted to do

I am so sorry to hear that. I know it's hard but everything happens for a reason. Just try to keep faith that the next job will be bigger and better if they decide to let you go.

I was laid off last June and they told me that the next day was my last. So I asked my manager if I really needed to come in, he said no. So I wrapped up all my projects forwarded it to my team, deleted all my personal stuff off the laptop and cleaned out my cube. I just didn't have the heart to pack up my stuff in front of everyone. So I went home to get the car, took all my stuff from the office, put my ID, keys, corporate card in an evelope and slide it under my manager's door. FH said I was too nice when I forwarded my project info and instructions to the other people on the team.
