When I was 9 weeks PG, my DH and I had ***. Well, the next morning I was bleeding, and I freaked out. I went to the doctors then and they said we bumped my cervix, so that's why I was bleeding. Well, I'm now 16 weeks and my DH and I haven't had *** since because the doctor said not to for a little while, and also because I'm scared to. Bleeding while you're PG really scares me. My DH really, really, wants to, but I'm still scared to. I had my 16 week appt this afternoon, and the doctor said we can go ahead and have ***, and just see if I bleed? Well, I'm still scared to, but I can't keep doing this to my poor DH! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for listening!!!

If your Dr. said it is ok I would try, maybe with you on top because then you can control the level of the thrusts( not to be too graphic) I hope that helped

Just wanted to say maybe try slowly. If the doctor said it's ok, try it at a very slow pace.

Melissa lite bleeding during pregnancy is actually common. it does not mean that you are having a m/c. if your doctor has told you that everything is okay then i wouldn't worry too much about it. I also suggest that you discuss your fears and feelings with DH so that you both understand how the other feels. Communication is very important!!!

You are both going to have to be patient and try different things for the next several months! If it's not the bleeding, as you get bigger it will be more awkward so you have to have fun with it! If your Doc said okay, just relax and do what makes you comfortable.

true, true, Niha. The bigger you get, the more uncomfortable it is ... so you have to be creative. What about you on t o p. You have more control that way, and are less likely to reach as deeply as you might the other way around. Its a long road ahead to give up intimacy altogether, so I'd say if you're still not comfortable, then definitely explore other avenues!
