Ok to wear black dress to RD?

I have a great new black dress I want to wear for the RD, which is a Saturday night. No time to go out and look for something else. Does anyone think this is a problem at all?? I'm not sure why I care, but I guess I just want confirmation that I don't have one more thing I need to do before next week...

I think it's fine. I love to wear black. I wore black to my bridal shower. One of my BM joked that it was a funeral, but she was only kidding. I think black is very classy.

Is it open, meaning, you will not be hot in it? If it is, I say go for it! there is nothing more appropriate then a little black dress!

I think its your and FH's RD, and you can wear whatever you want! I dont think there is anything wrong with that..And with all the expenses of a wedding, who has money to go buy an expensive dress you will prob wear once.

I ALWAYS wear black when I'm going to some type of affair. It's very elegant, very classy.
