When I got done with BBB, the lady at the registry told me I didn't have enough stuff on my registry. I didn't add any sheets or towels yet, because I am waiting to see what colors I will want. I had something like 63 items. I also have a Macys registry with my Everyday China, silverware, pots and pans, and other items. I think I have about 40 items on there, maybe more.
Is this to little, I can't think of anything else.

I also registered at BBB and she told me the same thing...but I couldn't think of anything else to put on there. I didn't just want to put anything on the registry because I didn't want people having to spend there money I things that I didn't need or not use. I wouldn't worry about it....I Know when I go to a shower and nothing is left on the registry then I normal get them a gift certificate to that store! Cheer Up

Don't worry, your registry is fine. You may end up adding things as you go along. Otherwise, you guests can just get you gift cards.

It's funny I just registered at BBB too (2 days ago). The lady said the same thing to me. It must be their standard speech. I have added some stuff online after talking to my MOH and Mom but I also don't want to fill it with things I will never use.

AT BBB, I think they told us 2-3 things for each person you're inviting?!! I'm almost done now and I think it's up to about 180 items (many of which are small like spoons, pizza cutter, etc.)...we're inviting about that many people w/ a guarantee of 160. I plan to keep an eye on it and add more as needed once people start buying.. I HAVE to look at it, it's not my fault!

Jeez...did we all register at the same BB&B because the lady I spoke with told me the same thing about not putting enough on the registry. She's like, 'no matter how many stores you choose to register at, you have to put approximately the same number of items on them as guests you expect to have.'
I don't even NEED that much stuff. FI and I have lived together for a year and a half and we got all new stuff for our apt. when we moved. At this point I'm registering for things I'd like to have but definitely don't need.

Don't worry! They want you to add more things on their registry. They told me the same thing and I told her I was registered at 3 places and she said 'oh your should have registerd with one..ours' Nope! They did not have everything I wanted. I went to Macy's, BBB, and Fortunoff's. Macy's was a pain though cause many people told me they didn't offer a lot of stuff in the store that I registerd for. Oh well

I would have just told her that I registered somewhere else also and took care of all of that. Why are people so annoying sometimes? Sheesh. Also, people will get you gift cards if they are shut out on the registry. And that's great!

Re: Ok, went to Macys an BBB to register...
Thats why I registered online...I didnt want to deal with people telling me how much I should register for etc etc...I know appx how many people will be at my shower and I wanted to register accordingly. Like I said, I registered online and when I happened to be in the sotre I made sure I checked out the things that I registered for and I was very happy with all the choices that I had made and did not have to go through the hassle of walking through the store. Thats just my experience.
