Ok, I am back and forth with my centerpieces and if I want chair covers. As of right now I have low centerpieces. They are going to be a square glass bowel with Pink and white roses and pink peonies. I will have roses petals on the table and three small candles on each side of the centerpiece.
I love tall centerpieces but, I didn't want to spend the money. My hall has high celings.
I also would like chair covers and figured I would spend extra and get chair covers with low centerpieces. OK, What should I do??
Should I spend extra money and get high and low centerpieces. No chair covers OR Or should I stick with the low centerpieces and get chairs covers to make the room look better.
pic below of centerpiece (Not exactly) And the Hamlet with chair covers.
personally, i prefer low cps and I think the ones you chose are beautiful. If you want, go with chair covers, but I dont think those are needed either... but i guess it depends on the chairs already there...do you have a pic without chair covers?

I love high centerpieces and I also love chair covers. That being said I understand not wanting to spend the extra $$ for the high centerpieces. I would stick with the low and do the chair covers. I think that chair covers add such elegance to a room so I think it would be smarter to put the money into geting them.

I agree, I would stick with low centerpieces, and chair covers!

I am having my reception at the Hamlet in Commack and they have the same chairs which is why I will also be getting chair covers.

I just like the look of chair covers, but everyone keeps telling me they are a waste of money. I looked at the Hamlet in Commack, very nice!!

I agree, I like the look of chair covers but it doesn't matter what I like or what anyone else likes either. It is your decision. I think it is money well spent. Are you getting the covers from the hamlet or an outside source?

Low centerpieces, with or without chair covers. I am having similar debate. My hall has um I don't know 25' ceilings with beams and I am doingfloating candles and rose petals and I am thinking of splurging on chair covers.i saw a wedding set up there with them and it had a finishing touch.

Wow, you pretty much described my centerpiece's, table decor and room decor. And of course I'm highly biased...but I loved how my room looked and all the guests loved the CP's and the flowers. Nothing better than a peony in my mind.
I have pictures in my review... I say do the low CP's and the chair covers...the covers really make the room look so much more 'together'.

Yes!! I saw your review a while ago. I saw your tables and loved them. It is exactly what I am going for, just different colors. I love the chair covers!! I might have to just splurge.

The Hamlet uses a company called 'Finishing Touches'. I am going to give them a call. It might be easy to use them, since they all ready have chair covers that fit, and they work with the Hamlet. I don't even know how much they cost.

Maybe you could rent stands for CPs and just have an floral arrangement of pink roses on top. That way your guest can take the arrangement home, it'll be cheaper and the stands can go back to the rental place. You could have high candle CP?

I think the low CP with the chair covers would look really nice. The chair covers make the place look much lighter and elegant... I'm probably also biased because I like low CP.

Well the florist I am using, makes the Centerpieces so the guest can take home the whole thing, glass vase and all. I thought that was nice.

I don't remember what I was told but she did tell me to look into outside sources because I could probably find them cheaper.

i love the second pic because that's basically what my room will look like. i have the tall calla cp's with the white chair covers with the big white bow in back. i love how crisp and clean it all looks when it's put together. very classy! my advice...splurge! you only get married once and you should enjoy every minute and every cent of it!!!

Re: Ok what is your suggestion??
But couldn't you rent the holders so you can still have high CPs. Yeah it would be nice for the guest to take it home, but in all honesty its just going to be another thing to dust later. A flower arrangement is beautiful but will die and not be an issue after that. I figure it would be cheaper to rent them than to buy them. I just figure that was a way that for you to have your cake and eat it too.
