Ok, I am back and forth with my centerpieces and if I want chair covers. As of right now I have low centerpieces. They are going to be a square glass bowel with Pink and white roses and pink peonies. I will have roses petals on the table and three small candles on each side of the centerpiece.
I love tall centerpieces but, I didn't want to spend the money. My hall has high celings.
I also would like chair covers and figured I would spend extra and get chair covers with low centerpieces. OK, What should I do??
Should I spend extra money and get high and low centerpieces. No chair covers OR Or should I stick with the low centerpieces and get chairs covers to make the room look better.
pic below of centerpiece (Not exactly) And the Hamlet with chair covers.

Wow, you pretty much described my centerpiece's, table decor and room decor. And of course I'm highly biased...but I loved how my room looked and all the guests loved the CP's and the flowers. Nothing better than a peony in my mind.
I have pictures in my review... I say do the low CP's and the chair covers...the covers really make the room look so much more 'together'.
Yes!! I saw your review a while ago. I saw your tables and loved them. It is exactly what I am going for, just different colors. I love the chair covers!! I might have to just splurge.
Thanks!
I have to say...being able to take home the CP's was a huge plus for us, the guests loved it! And throughout the night some of the girls were taking peonies and putting them in their hair while dancing (can you say drunk? ) I was really happy to see that in the pictures.
And yes, splurge on the chair covers...they rock! Did you see jenniesunshine's review? She had gorgeous chair covers and lots of pink!

Re: Ok what is your suggestion??
I almost booked Hamlet in Commack and I loved the chairs as is - with the Mahogany trim, they are very traditional and look as the belong at a dining room table. I am also in the camp of low CPs - a low CP can be as nice as a tall one, and your guests will appreciate it as well. SO...I say save your $ and keep your low CP (love it) AND skip the chair covers too!
OR...did you ask your florist to quote you half high and half low? I almost did this, but my florist talked me out of it.

Thanks for your suggestions!! I think I am going to stay with my low centerpieces and get chair covers. I just have to find an affordable place.

I found nice black and pink invitations the other day. I just wish they weren't so much money. I guess they are a moderate price.

Definately stick to your low CP's & do the chairs with out without the chair covers! Personally I don't see the point of the chair covers, they are only for what you first see when you walk into the room. I have been to weddings where I was cursing the chair covers bc I could not get my feet under the chair

Yeah I think so, I guess I will spend the money. I wrote a post a while back about how much people spend on Invitations. I got about 6 girls who said $1200 and over. So now I don't feel so bad. I am no where near that much.

My invites were over $1200 also but to me it was worth it in the end. No regrets. I am happy that you found something.

I sure they were beautiful! Everytime I looked in the more expensive books, I couldn't help myself and like everything. I had to bring myself back to reality and go for a cheaper invite.

My guests loved my invites. It does not matter if the invites are cheaper so long as they are beautiful and classy with elegance. My invites are in my avatar only thing it was not black and pink but rather ivory and pink.
