ok, what to look for next?? + limo and dj prices/help

ok, what to look for next?? + limo and dj prices/help

so FH and I kinda stopped 'planning' our wedding. I think we both just got burnt out.
we have the hall, church, photog/videog and rings.
and possibly a florist- friend of my mothers that we are going to meet with after the holidays.

besides limos and a DJ, what else should we be looking into?

please recommend your limo co and DJ's

but I want to add, our budget for limos is about $1000 and DJ is $1200.

limos: the following are in the limo:
me
fh
moh
bestman
4 bm's
4 gm's
2 fgs
2 rbs
(possibly one more as fsil is preggers, but no clue on what shes having or if they'll be in the bp)
1 grandmother (fhs) (maybe)
1 uncle (fhs) (maybe)- or more.. depends on who comes from Italy
1 mob
1 fob
1 mog
1 fog

DJ- want a 2man dj/emcee
5 hour continuous music
basic light show.

check out After Hours for DJ...they are great and the prices are reasonable!

with all those people sounds like your going to need a party bus.

are you doing pics after the church?
do you need a pick up after the wedding for everyone?

I have Sir Oliver for Limo and High Energy for DJ.....most DJ companies IMO will be over $1,200...High Energy was probaly one of the only ones until $1,200 (even under $1,100)

Check out Strathmore Limos in Hicksville on Old Country Road. Gina was AWESOME!!!!

Yeah, you'll definitely need either two big limos or a party bus. On the plus side, a party bus means no tax! I booked my 35 passenger party bus with Camelot Limos. Check 'em out!

ETA: Also, our DJ is Body Rock.

Camelot Limos - Joe is the best!

I have a band so I am no help with the DJ. . . . . . well we had Barattini productions Dj our engagement party and they were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

thank ladies,
I REALLY want a party bus, FH doesn't.. he's so against them. (I don't know why, he just feels they're not 'elegant' and he wants an 'elegant' wedding- while having 'pimped out limos'

we're going with two HUGE limos...
we're doing pictures in between the ceremony and reception, not sure where though.

and as for after.. I want some sort of shuttle, but I don't think we'll be able to afford it

If you go to Camelot, call ahead and ask if you can see the party bus. Maybe actually stepping into it FH will change his mind. Tell him it's not about having a 'pimped out limo' but about being reasonable, saving money, and getting to spend time with ALL of your nearest and dearest on the way to the wedding!
