I'd have to say NKOTB! There were so many girls screaming in my ear we couldn't hear anything, plus we had standing room only tix off to the side of the stage so we couldn't see. We ended up leaving early and going to Pizza Hut!
My second worst concert was the Doobie Brothers. My dad won tix off the radio and we went and got stuck next to these freakazoids who wouldn't stop talking to us and kept asking if we'd give them a ride home!

Lollapalooza...don't remember the year...but some of the headliners were Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins...and I was SO excited for the BEASTIE BOYS...they are just one of my all-time favorites...
However, the day we went it rained, well POURED...it took us a while to get out to Randall's Island with all of the traffic...we missed a couple of the acts...and then I HAD TO LEAVE because there were people going to the bathroom from up above in the trees...
We were so GROSSED out...
And, I missed the WHOLE concert...

PJ Harvey...so boring...every word, grunt, moan, and scream was exactly the way it was on her CD. She had no energy, and neither did the audience. I fell asleep.

hmmmm
Peter Gabriel - some guy from work put me on the spot and I had to go. I don't dislike his music ... but some of the people at that concert scarred me for life - A Jerry Sienfeld look alike freaking out to 'In your eyes' one of my favorite songs.
He did put on a good show - lots of great effects.
David Gray concert - I had great seats - I love his music. But it was booooring, not exactly concert music.

Dave Matthews at Giants stadium... he didn't do much popular stuff, just mostly from his new album at the time (1998 I think it was) so that was disappinting. We had floor seats but ALLLL the way in the back so we couldnt see anything. And then there was SO MUCH traffic leaving afterwards that it took me 3 hours to go 10 MILES!! I wanted to die.

Bon Jovi . Not really b/c the concert itself was bad, it was OK. It just wasn't great (it was at MSG, the acoustics were horrible, we had the worst seats, and some serious potheads were sitting behind us ..)
But it was because my boyfriend at the time broke up with me at the end of the night. Very out of the blue, too
Sure he was a jerk, but my teenage heart was broken...For so long, I couldn't listen to BonJovi the same way again.....
David Bowie...1995 Nine Inch Nails opened...and trent was great...and he actually sang 2 songs with Bowie which were great...
I was so excited about Bowie...but he ONLY played new songs...and the album had been out only a day...I just didn't enjoy it...half the stadium (brendan Birn Arena <- something else now?) left...

My opinion was the opposite!! I thought Bowie was fantastic & the NIN sucked!!

Sugar Ray at Roseland. We actually went for the opening band (I cannot remember who it was though!!). Mark McGrath kept sticking his hand down his pants and singing all these HARD songs we never heard of ... so we left.

Re: Ok, What was your WORST concert?
I have a similar experience to the Bowie NIN concert..
I saw Aerosmith and Kiss this summer... Aerosmith was great.. totally awesome.
Kiss was awful.... They opened strongly and then it was downhill from there. All the lead singer was blah blah blah about how great their music is.. their music is marginal at best. JMO... and they kept BS'ing so much that as a result.. Aerosmith couldn't do an encore.
This was at Jones Beach.. so when 11:30 rolled around.. it was 'lights up.. get out!'
And the people around us were awful. They just sat there. Didn't get into it at all.

Was it Everlast? I went to see Everlast who was opening for Sugar Ray. My brother & I couldn't stand to watch them anylonger. He (MArk McGrath) is SOOOO into himself!!

Ooh, yeah! That was the concert. Was anyone else on the bill? I can't imagine we went into the city for either of those .... but it's possible.

Santana & Jeff Beck at Jones Beach in 1995 I think.
Santana sang Black Magic Woman for what seemed like an hour. Jeff Beck's portion of the show was purely instrumental. I wanted to blow my brains out.
Plus it was raining that day.

A few years ago, FH and I went to one of the K Rock concerts at Jones Beach. The only one I was interested in seeing was Courtney Love and she pulled out at the last minute! The only part I enjoyed was when Howard Stern came out (I have been a fan for years)!!! FH and I spent most of the time by the concession stands drinking!!!
