Ok, What was your WORST concert?

I'd have to say NKOTB! There were so many girls screaming in my ear we couldn't hear anything, plus we had standing room only tix off to the side of the stage so we couldn't see. We ended up leaving early and going to Pizza Hut!

My second worst concert was the Doobie Brothers. My dad won tix off the radio and we went and got stuck next to these freakazoids who wouldn't stop talking to us and kept asking if we'd give them a ride home!

Santana sang Black Magic Woman for what seemed like an hour. Jeff Beck's portion of the show was purely instrumental. I wanted to blow my brains out.

I was at this show...I agree, she was completely dreadful.

Lenny Kravitz at Jones Beach the summer before last.

First - I *abhor* Jones Beach as a venue. No drinking...if you're there for a festival, it's like you're on a compound b/c you can't leave...there are always older people there complaining (and actually yelling at!) to younger people for standing up and (gasp!) dancing and enjoying themselves!

Second - it poured the MINUTE my best friend and I stepped out of the car. Which made for an interesting, memorable and really fun evening.

The only saving grace was that we made it to the show early enough to catch Pink.

I was so disappointed - LK just plain ole svcked arse.

My boyfriend at the time was actually sleeping (snoring..the whole nine yards) and a couple behind us was just making out the whole time. She sounded like POOP.

She's lucky I didn't demand my money back for the FREE ticket! lol.

I couldn't tell - it was pouring and my BF & I were the ONLY two people in the entire place who didn't have either an umbrella or plastic bag or jacket. Couldn't see a thing! But I heard it - he sounded like sh!t. And to think he used to be my boyfriend.

My FW was at this show.. I remember her saying how badly it rained.. I was nice and dry.. .. but I was also at work... .. haha

I think she enjoyed the music.. not the weather or the fans there. And we agree with you totally about Jones Beach.

I had to take my little sister to a Hansen concert, she LOVED them and was too young to go by herself in the city.
The place was packed with little kids and teenyboppers. I don't know most of their songs so I had no idea what was going on.

LOL Not literally - though I *WISH*. He is just too yummy. No...among my friends we have 'our boyfriends' and he was mine for the longest time. My love affair, ahem, infatuation, ended once I left that damn concert.

I love all concerts for the most part but the worst was probably Bob Dylan in 91 at Jones Beach - he seemed tired and didnt play long.

The best I've seen was U2 last yr, Bon Jovi at the Meadowlands in 2001 and the many Dead shows I caught in the early 90s.....

Surprisingly, it was Red Hot Chili Peppers at Jones Beach about 4 summers ago. It wasn't a bad concert - but I love them and had been wanting to see them for years!! I was very disappointed because they played a lot of songs that weren't the popular ones and some stuff that wasn't even their's! SO it wasn't bad - but disappointing.

ALIKING is sitting next to me and she says that her worst concert was Duran Duran - what???? SHe said it wasn't good because it was at Radio City and everyone was sitting down and it was like being at a classical music show - not like a hottie Duran Duran concert!

Sugar Ray at Roseland. We actually went for the opening band (I cannot remember who it was though!!). Mark McGrath kept sticking his hand down his pants and singing all these HARD songs we never heard of ... so we left.

Was it Everlast? I went to see Everlast who was opening for Sugar Ray. My brother & I couldn't stand to watch them anylonger. He is SOOOO into himself!!

Ooh, yeah! That was the concert. Was anyone else on the bill? I can't imagine we went into the city for either of those .... but it's possible.

I think the Goo Goo Dolls were the main show. I saw that trio about 3 or 4 years ago at Jones Beach. It was freezing and pouring rain.
