DJ ( say you dont get a basic package but with some stuff like MC and maybe lights) or Florist - on the average.....

That's hard, because I sent out for informaton from this DJ and the package that I was looking at for a dj,mc,and some giveaways was $3,500 And tell me why my Fh is still considering them His reasoning is that the music makes the party.

I think it also depends on what flowers you get and which florist you use. But I hope the flowers would cost more.

I think DJ and Florists may cost about the same, depending on the package you get for the DJ.

I don't know yet what costs more - but I'm thinking my band will - I actually refuse to spend more on flowers then music because music is the highlight of a party.

i agree.. music does make the party.. my entertainment is going to be wayyyy more than my flowers...

but you don't want bad flowers either

Well I spend a ton on my flowers and do not regret it and I spend less than a thousand dollars on my DJ and Wow it was the best. He really had the guests moving including DH and I. I made sure that I spend a lot on flowers because I did not want them to look cheesy and also everyone was raving about how beautiful the flowers were and they were not filled with only baby breaths at all. So it really depends.

I got pricing for a couple of DJs and they almost all started at $700 and went up depending on what you wanted and what you added

I am paying the same for both - BUT I am not decorating my site with flowers I am doing all candles

2,800 to each.....

it depends on what you want with the dj...if you just want DJ and MC place i went was about 1500 less then the florist, with lights and photo montage thing it was almost same price
