ok which std??? w/poll

FH and I are originally from LI but currently are living in Philly. which std would u chose? i feel like we need to include the location since we're not in NY anymore, but i feel like with the location its too wordy. also FH thinks the website link is 'faggy'. i think its helpful since our website includes the hotel info. can you guys help me decide, please?

I think with the location so you dont confuse people

what is your std? what i mean is.... is it a postcard or a magnet... or something else?

if it's a magnet, you can create a simple 'greeting card' to put the magnet in. this way, you can put some of the info on the 'card' and not on the magnet itself.

this is what i did.

i used regular cardstock. printed the info on it, and then 'taped' the magnets to the card with glue dots (they're like that sticky stuff that credit cards are stuck to the letter with)

if you need any more info fm me.

i think you should leave the location out but include the website - the guests can find all the useful info there

yup...i agree with this. put it in a card--and put the website on THAT. but leave the location on the STD itself--but nix the website. i think it will look much nicer that way.

it is important to put town too so people can book hotels and travel arrangments if needed!

ok girls, thanks for all suggestions!! i think i'm going to take the location and website off the magent and then use mjdoc12's idea. I'm going to tape the magnet to card stock and then on the card stock print the website and location there. Thanks again!! u guys rock!!

I personally don't think it matters.... Almost all of my guests got so confused because of the save the dates, if I had to do this again.... There would have been no STDs at all...

I think it looks wonderful!

the problem with that is that not all people use the internet...especially our grandparents. [granted, there are those who do...but if your granny is 90, chances are good she doesn't even own a computer!]

I think libby2595 made a good point. but if this is a one sided card, maybe change the font/sizes so that it seems less busy.

I do think that since you are living in one state and marrying in another, it would help to include the 'Long Island, New York' Not everyone will check out a website or bother to call your mom and ask her where the wedding will be.

I like the second one. Not just b/c it has the location, but the it seems to have a better flow with the date being smaller.
