ok, with a little over 4 months till the day... what should I be doing?

what is done:

booked RH, church, DJ, florist, photog/videog, limo(bus), hair/makeup
rings are being made
made FG baskets (but I'll prob re-do them cause I'm not happy with how they came out)
put a deposit on the dress (its a sample)
picked out BM and FG dresses, just waiting for my BMs to order them (which they have 20 days to do)

FH and I are going to look at invites later today.. (cross your fingers we find something we both agree on and can afford)


what else should I be doing??

how about finding shoes or DOJ?
or shopping for the MOB / MOG dresses?
or getting the favors?

don't worry i feel extremely behind too. I feel like I am struggling with motivating myself to get things done. I am trying to force myself to handle my limos and hair right now

what about booking the RD (or are FH's paren'ts doing this)? or do you need a hotel block?

shoes and DOJ are just a MAJOR issue- can't find any and I can't find a slip (need a big hoop skirt/petticoat/crinoline) and a bra, so I can do my fittings... but yea, i hate this!

um, both MOB and MOG got their dresses... but we wont discuss that

favors are going to worked on around august. we have an idea of what we're getting.

and as for the RD... who knows whats going on with that... we have our appt with the church, but I have no idea where dinner is.

um... what limo companies have you contacted? what are you looking for? I could give you some suggestions there.

ebay has good prices on crinolines, i believe ... def worth the savings, IMO.

i've actually only called one place that a lot of girls on here recommended. I called them Friday and they told me they would call me back later in the day. When they called me back they said they would touch base with me on Tuesday to give me the quotes and then they never called. I'm discourgaged and annoyed.

try red carpet limo.. they gave us an AMAZING price on a bus and were really easy to work with.
also transtar in deer park is AFFORDABLE!
of course there's camelot.. joe is great, but the bus we wanted was booked.

I'm iffy with ebay, like I stalk it and made a paypal account just to bid on a skirt, but I dont know how big the skirts are, and I'm short... and I think most of the big (poofy) ones are too long.. and cutting it just makes me nervous.
as for DOJ... I want something antiquey looking, that lays around my collar bone. so kinda chokerish but not around my throat. bracelet I want a cuff... and earrings... no clue. I have little ears, so I don't want anything too overpowering.
oh and i need something for my hair.. that matches.

whatever you find I'll totally look into.

but I'm on a SUPER TIGHT budget... esp now that dance is pretty much over till september, so I don't make as much $$.

Were getting married on the same day and I feel the same way as you but I think it seems from what you wrote that all the major things are done which is great, and is similar to us....I looked at the wedding planner giude last night and freakd out to FH that we still have sooooo much to do but after seeing what some people who are getting married before us still have left it gave me a sigh of relief because I think we should have plenty of time then to take care of all the 'smaller' details..I still have to:

order and mail invitations
order shoes/ garter/ bag
finalize BM dresses
order RB pillow
buy gifts for BP and parents
go shopping for MOB & FMIL dresses
schedule hair trial
order programs, ceremony decorations
wedding license
pick out songs
give pics to dj for photo montage


I know there's def a lot more to do, but i'm confiedent everything will get done...I am actually considering hiring a DOC at this point just to make sure everything runs smoothly..espicially b/c I keep having nightmares that it's my wedding day and I don't even have a dress or hair stylist and I forgot to do so many things, and it's freaking me out just a lil bit
