I think they are so handsome looking.. What is your man wearing?? he wants a tie, and that's OK, but he would LOOK so hot in the ascot.. he is so hot anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

An ascot is basically a scarf that is tied around the neck.

My FI is wearing a regular necktie, probably in silver gray. I'm not into ascots; I'm pretty sure my FI would vehemently oppose wearing one anyway.

My FH is wearing a tie that looks like a regular tie, but is still black tie.

For those who don't know- an ascott is like a scarf kind of thing worn around the neck instead of a tie.. Picture Thirsten Howell, the third.

I personally would not make FH wear anything he didn't want to. It's his day too.

I was just going to post the exact same thing. Thristen Howell!!

I personally love the long tie with the full vest look, which happened to be what FH chose, but he didn't get to tell me what kind of dress to get, so I don't get to tell him what kind of tux to get.

I think ascots look great, but my fiance is boycotting...He wants a regular tie.

I LOVE the ascots too, but my FH didn't. He ended up getting regular ties for the tuxes and they look great. We are also having a Saturday night wedding and a lot of people told me you are only supposed to wear them to day weddings...but I don't know if that is true.

Jimmy is wearing a full morning suit with the cutaway coat and ascot tie. Then he will change into a tux with a full vest for the reception.

my FH is wearing what ever he wants. I just told him NOT silver. We were discussing this yesterday.

we have 6 groomsmen - they are wearing any tux they want. if they want to wear a vest, cumperbund, nothing, i dont care, as per a tie, they can wear bow ties, reg. ties, anything... what ever it is has to be black.... most of our GM own their own tux, and they wont be wearing boutineres.

My FH will will wear either a black or white tie or a black bowtie. he isnt sure yet,. he has all three so he will try them all on with his new tux- he had it made last year. he looks so sexy.. i just it!! hehehehe

my BM are wearing all different black satin gowns by Bill Levkoff.... my sis the MOH will have a white satin top and the blk satin skirt. yeeeaaa
