I just got off the phone with a florist who wanted me to come in for an appointment. I told her we are not looking at flowers until the summer. She then tells me that well it would be in my best interest to start shopping in April. I again said well we really dont want to do any more planning until the summer. She then says, 'Umm you are getting married in July, hellooooo' (yes, that was a direct quote) So I said no not this year, next year to which she said umm yea i know you should be coming and doing this stuff now! Hmmm well see I was told by another florist that my idea of waiting until the summer was a good idea so that I can see what is in bloom and see the flowers alive and not pics in an album. So she keeps on trying to get me to come in in April, to that I said we are waiting until the summer because we are broke. She simply said, 'we will call you in June!'
THat is the SECOND time I got attitude from that florist so she better not call in June!! Maybe I am just in shock since most of the vendors did not want to talk to me when they heard my wedding was 20 months away!
Word to the wise, tell the vendors your broke and they leave you alone!!

I can't believe a vendor who wants YOUR business would be so rude. I would definitely look into using another florist. With all of the things you are going to have to plan, you don't need someone being rude to you or stressing you out. Sorry to hear about your experience and good luck!

Yea seriously she DID stress me out!! I dont think thats the first impression you want a potential client to have!!! I mean the first time I spoke to someone from the florist at a showcase, I walked away from the table so stressed!!

Well the only reason why I didnt tell her we already booked a florist is because I was interested in meeting with them, but after getting attitude from two of their workers, its gotta be a reflection on their business and I dont want to deal with people like that. I dunno Im thinking I should give them a third chance because you know three strikes and your out!!!

i cant believe some people. First it just makes them sound real desperate. Vendors harassing me just makes me NOT want to book them, even if i had an interest before them. None should every pressure you. And there is no reason at all why you would have to book so early, you could book next year and still be fine
