I just got off the phone with a florist who wanted me to come in for an appointment. I told her we are not looking at flowers until the summer. She then tells me that well it would be in my best interest to start shopping in April. I again said well we really dont want to do any more planning until the summer. She then says, 'Umm you are getting married in July, hellooooo' (yes, that was a direct quote) So I said no not this year, next year to which she said umm yea i know you should be coming and doing this stuff now! Hmmm well see I was told by another florist that my idea of waiting until the summer was a good idea so that I can see what is in bloom and see the flowers alive and not pics in an album. So she keeps on trying to get me to come in in April, to that I said we are waiting until the summer because we are broke. She simply said, 'we will call you in June!'
THat is the SECOND time I got attitude from that florist so she better not call in June!! Maybe I am just in shock since most of the vendors did not want to talk to me when they heard my wedding was 20 months away!
Word to the wise, tell the vendors your broke and they leave you alone!!

hahah.. what a beeotch! i tell them that i dont have a date set and when i do i'll be glad to call them back.. they got the hint and never called back... although a couple months later i got a call again.. and i'm like 'yea still no date set, and i told her the other person i would call back when i set a date'.. and she's like 'oh ok sorry' hahahaa annoyinggggg ppl

That is sooooo arrogant of them! I get calls all the time from vendors and it gets irritating after awhile because I would much rather find the vendor myself instead of the vendor finding me! But there are a lot of great vendors that are associated with RH's!

That is completely and utterly insane. My wedding is Feb of 09 and we aren't meeting with a florist till this coming MAY! There is NO WAY you should meet with a florist a year and a half before your wedding. She was super rude and if I were you I would totally not even make an appointment to see her. If she is stressing you out now and your wedding is 17 months away, what is she going to do to you when your wedding is a week away. Please, you don't need that nonsense!!

I had MrsNasty call me yesterday. When I said we werent doing any weddign planningshe goes 'Ur not doing weddign planning or ur not doing wedding planning with us?'
so i replied' Well now im not' and hung up
She CALLED ME BACk and said i was rude
so i said 'Im putting a complaint about u on all the wedding boards'
i didnt know the florist though

Alright ladies I keep on getting requests to reveal the florist, so i might as well just come out and share it...
I didnt want to share it bc A. I know people get easily offended when you post negative things about their vendors and B. it could have been an isolated incident and it honestly wasnt catastrophic. and C. I believe in karma oh yea and D. I think the point I really wanted to make was that someone was actually freaking out about a wedding in 09 and I know my fellow 09ers are not used to getting that from vendors LOL..
