Okay, now I'm a little freaked....

So, we're living in CA right now and I squeeze as much wedding planning into the times I come home to LI. I'm coming home next Thursday until Sunday for FH's cousin's wedding and I have appoinments with the DJ, two limo companies, to see my gown that just came in ( ), going for my tiara and viel, seeing my best friends baby that she had yesterday , going to the wedding and then flying back here. I'll be home again for Christmas, but I just noticed that I haven't made any plans to do trials for hair and makeup. I was reading some other posts and it looks like a lot of you other '05 girls already have your stylists booked. Do you think I can find someone in December or is that just cutting it too close? Help, please!!

I think you can always find someone. Some of the popular people on the boards will be taken, but you will find someone.

wow!!!! seems like you've got a lot on your plate!!! i wouldn't worry about it...i mean the more popular ones may be booked, but you'll always be able to get somebody local or in a salon or whatever!

you really have so much to do...forget about time with family even!! i wouldn't stress about it

I'm having a similar problem planning from Virginia. I think you'll be fine though... I'm booking some trials when i hopefully go home sometime in October i started getting nervous about that a month or so ago.

I am planning from oston and can not get home oftern bcuae i work and go to school full time - what i learned is that most of the makeup and hair people will hold your date if you set up a trial - so just set one or two up with vendors that you seem to like

I set up an appointment with Jaqualine Nicole in august for columbus day weekend in October - just becuae that was the only weekend i knew i would be home

I have heard many of the people at the makeup counters in Like macy's etc do makeup. So if you don't get one of the ones you see on the board a lot you can get one of them or someone from a salon.
P.S. good thing about the makeup counter people is that you can just go in and let them do a makeover on you and if you love it then ask them to do your wedding... I am a spinless jellyfish and hate telling someone that I 'went with someone else' aka 'I didn't like your work' ... So this way gets me out of hurting anyones feelings... plus saves $$$$$$
