Okay now Im alittle annoyed

I called Burtons back up to find out if there was anyway they would tell me who made the dress because mom lives in Fla. and I think that's the dress and I want to send her a pic. Well I was just there at 1pm you have a card on me and I have an appt. on Thurs to go back and try on a few more, she tells me that it's info. she cant give me over the phone I have to come in for her to give it to me. I just tried the damn dress on now I either have to drive 40min back there or wait until Thursday. Im not asking how much it cost I already know you just cant tell me who makes it?

What that I was annoyed? I did tell her that I was just there and she remember me and I told her you know the last dress I tried on today well I know you said you'd have the info for me on the designer when I came in on Thursday but is there anyway you could give it to me now? I really think that's my dress and I want to find a pic to send to my mom because she lives in Fla. Then she told me she couldn't I'd have to come back in for her to give me the info. I should've said that I was annoyed but I didn't

that would make me not want to give them my business... I would have gotten pissy on the phone... im good at that!!

I was there with my daughter she was in the pink jumpsuit. Dont get me wrong everyone in there was really nice and the woman I asked on the phone was one of the woman who was helping me that's why I figured she give me the designers name. There were just too many girls there. That's why Im going back on Thursday during the day. It's very tiny and it was very warm. I was actually at one point sharing the dressing room with someone(after I'd come out she'd go in and when she'd come out I'd go in)The prices on the dresses I thought were great and the girls were very helpful except for this one detail. The girl I believe her name was Lisa she is very sweet but I think she was getting impatient because I didn't like any of the dress
es I tried on. None of them were dresses I asked to see either though but similar. I know
I've explained before but I didnt want to try on any dresses until I could lose some weight(like most of us). I have two small babies and i put on alot of weight with them and then a car accident added some more. So you cant put a size 18 girl in a size 12 dress and say can you picture it Yeah I can picture all my fat hanging out like it is now and the cups to the bodice being in the center of my boobs instead of covering them like they are now so at one point and please dont feel bad for me but I wanted to cry. I explained to the girl that it was not the dresses she picked out but me that my head was really not into it and Im not seeing a dress that I say to myself oh my god this is the one-I have to have it. She said she understood but the more crowded it got the more she seemed impatient that I wanted to leave without trying on anymore dresses.
She asked me if I would be willing to try on just one more so I agreed. Then I heard her explain to the woman helping someone else that I didn't like anything and was ready to leave but I was gonna try on one more dress so the other woman suggested this two pc(which every detail on the dress was what I told her I didnt want)so I tried it on and low and behold it's the dress I want. I told her I would make an appt. for another day but I was definetly coming back because I felt comfortable with how helpful everyone was and I even saw a girl being fitted and ya know how most places change once they have you $$ well they seemed to be just as sweet and pleasant. When I told her that I would come back though and that I wanted to start looking at dresses for my daughter she said well we cant until we are done with you first then we can work on the BM dresses. What happened to this being about the bride and what I want? Again I think it was because of the crowd and how tiny of a place it was. I'll let you know how I feel about it on Thursday

Just answered it It might be. Do you have pics of the back? Did you get it at Burtons?

Isn't it ILLEGAL to cut labels from dresses and not tell the customer who makes the dress?!?!?!?!

Also, it's rude of them to over nook themselves and then you have to feel uncomfortable and leave b/c it was too crowded!

A place like that is a turn off to me.......maybe you can try going to other places and describing the dress - you may find it easier if you go to a boutique that carries many different designers and price ranges..............good luck

Yes, I agree silly - but congrats on finding out who was the dress maker, and finally finding something you loved!! Hope everything else goes well!! P.S. Now you can move onto bridemaids dresses

Yep! Im gonna try on a few more on Thursday to make sure but all around the same style. Thanks again for the pic of the dress Laura. Also if anyone else has any other pics please send them.

you should do a search and maybe you will have more success finding other pics from previous brides.........also - I think Julz33 had that dress or something similar.
