Bride/Bridal Party Day Of - $100 per person
Plus a $75 travel fee to Port Jefferson
Plus a early start fee $75-$100
Plus a $50 booking fee


Girls, is this expensive????

IMO yes.. I think the travel fee/ early start fee is ridiculous. You are paying enough for the services.

UH!!!! YES! Expensive IMO!

I don't understand why so many girls rave about her then

100 per bridesmaid just for makeup? thats crazy we r paying 140 for hair and makeup for bms.

I have heard wonderful things about oksana, but I think u can find lesser prices at the same quality... jmo

I used her and she was great, but did not charge a booking, early start and travel fees! Her prices went up a lot since last year...wow That s*cks because she is really good!! On the other hand...the $100 per girl is average, even below average according to the prices I was quoted by different makeup artists last year...one quoted me $300 for hair and makeup, another for makeup only $175 and another for makeup only $150.

I also have 3 bridemaids and would like to be able to pay for their makeup..Maybe I'll just book a trial and take it from there. I will be getting ready in Port Jeff. Do you girls know if that is far from where she is located. A $75 travel fee seems really unreasonable...

Hey! I used Oksana for my wedding and i have to just step in and fix some things you said...

Your $50 booking/deposit fee goes towards the wedding day, so the day of your wedding, your make-up is only $50. Before i changed the location of where i was getting ready, i was being charged a travel fee b/c i was over an hour away from her studio. It was $50 -- other make-up artists ask you to pay a car service for them to get there.

I wasn't charged an early fee b/c i had a late day wedding... in the grand scheme of things, your make-up will only cost $225 with everything which is about on par or slightly cheaper than MOST make-up artists.

I've used Oksana for MULTIPLE events and I will continue to rave about her and her work.

I think you are misunderstanding her pricing -- it's not a $75 trial fee. I think you should email her and let her clear this up for you.

She's located in Queens, so she isn't exactly close to you.

What time are you starting make up that she's charging for an early start?

I have a travel fee but my make up person is traveling from Nassau County to Central NJ. Why is her travel fee so high? Isn't she a vendor on Long Island? I have never not heard a of an early start fee? Is that negotiable?

The price for my BM make up is $100 but thats only because the work for Dior and their makeup is expensive.

I don't think its expensive. I believe it seems to be an average price as far as make-up goes.

As for the travel fee, she is coming from Queens- gas is not cheap, and time=money. Port Jeff is not 5 minutes away from her.

Oh, and early start fee only applies if you are looking for her to be there at 4/5am...


Next time, you really should post ACCURATE information, as to not confuse the other members of this site.
