I have lived with my parents in the same house all my life. FI and I finally found an apartment and we are moving in 10 days. I've packed most of my stuff, thats easy. What will be hard? Actually moving? Unpacking? What am I in for? Thanks!

unpacking and packing are the worst.
look at it this way, at least you throw away alot of stuff you dont need and cleaned thru everything. that is one good thing about packing.

Moving from your parents house IS NOT nearly as bad as moving from your own apartment. You'll see what I mean. It's much easier to pack a room and unpack it, than it is to pack an entire apartment!!
We moved into a 4 bedroom house and I NEVER want to move again...
Consider yourself lucky this time girlie!!
However, the hard part may be adjusting to living with a boy!

it's aggravating and stressful...but after it's all done, you get to see your new home all set up...that is refreshing.
it's considered one of the most (if not the most) stressful things you can do.

We've actually been living together with my parents. We accumalated so much stuff in the 7 years we've been dating that we had to get a storage room! I am kinda worried about organizing everything...

i hated it. Dh and i both had to move from our parents houses to our first house- not as bad- but then moving to the second house- we had all the extra furniture to move which was a pain in the *Ss

The packing and sorting/purging through what to keep or not to keep is bad. Unpacking is not as bad as long as you have closet space.
