OKay, so I too am expecting!!!
I too am PREGGO..
I can't believe that I'm pregnant!![]()
but I took 2 pregnancy tests last week, and then one on Sunday and then I went to the ob/gyn on Monday to get it confirm. I have my very first appt. on 3/22 and I will find out my EDD at that time.
I didn't tell ANYONE when I took the first test.. It would have been too much to go through if it were false, so I stayed quiet.. VERY HARD TO DO.. I also had this whole way planned on how I wanted to tell Todd, but the way it worked out turned out to be best..
I wasn't planning on telling him until Monday, but on Thursday night, coincidentally, he had had a bad day at work (had to fire some people) so I made him a yummy dinner by candlelight.. After dinner, we were watching TV, and as we were flipping through, there was something on with babies.. You should have seen his face.. it was soo sad but adorable at the same time... then he looked at me and I said what's wrong? he said, oh nothing.. So then he had an eyelash on his face.. Like always, I took the eyelash with my finger and told him to make a wish and blow it and he did.. I then told him to tell me what his wish was.. he said, no, b/c it won't come true.. I said, Yes, it will! he said, Marcella, I wish we had a baby.. then I said to him.. Well your wish has been granted because I am pregnant!! =) I took pics of him with his bib and the pregnancy tests but he said his hair looks messed up and won't allow me to post them...![]()
I took him by the hand and showed him the 2 pregnancy tests I had taken lol the other one was a Clearblue, but the dang 'PREGNANT' message went away before I could snap it..
It was a TOUGH weekend.. Friday, we went to Corbin & Reynolds in Long Beach where his mom lives to have dinner.. NOW, we are all pretty big drinkers and me being preggo and all it was difficult trying to cover it up.. I fake-sipped the glass of wine ALL NIGHT lol luckily they were all so smashed that they didn't even realize!![]()
Saturday and Sunday, we kept down low..
Then on Monday, after my appt., I ran out to get these bibs..
I called up my dad and told him to pick up mom after work and come by b/c I had just received docs on something we are working on.. So they came over and I had them sit down.. Todd handed them each an envelope..

Needless to say we are ALL ecstatic.. Stay tuned for pics of his mother and grandmother's reactions when we tell them this Friday.. =)
