Okay - that's it DC area LIW'rs - We need to have a GTG!

Seriously!

I'm a little further away than most for the time being (live in the shenandoah valley, but will be moving up to fairfax or pw this summer).

I'll be up in fairfax for job fairs the w/e of the 25th, and the 4th... so is anyone up for either of those weekends? I've got an early interview on the 25th (9:50) so I'm good for the rest of the day! Let me know if anyone wants to meet :) I'd prefer to stay in the fairfax area - since that's what' i'm familiar with, but i'm flexible!

Hi Deb...oh yeah we talked about the 24th being bad because of your interview...that was the GN gig at the grill that night --maybe on the early side? Dinner then?. 25th is out for me since I have a party and the 4th is my BIL bday dinner (maybe afterwards would work...)BUT I would love to meet people....what does everyone's schedules look like????

Hi girls,
I would love to participate in a DC area GTG, since I have always been so jealous of the ones up on LI that I can't get to! I am free on Sunday the 26th and could meet for lunch near Fairfax (I'd be coming from Germantown, MD though). Any other ideas/dates? We have plans on the 25th and may be painting our bathroom on the weekend of the 4th (gotta love married life, haha), but I need to check on that.

I have a feeling I will be finishing up this paper on the 26th that is due the 27th and the 25th I have plans...

anyone up for Gonzo gig on the 24th at Clarendon Grill (I know you can't make that Deb )?

I'll try to see if i can find someone to go with me! I'm really not comfortable going into Clarendon on my own... and DH isn't coming since he has something to do in Harrisonburg on Sunday.

I know my one friend is going to be at her IL's, but I'll ask a few others that live up there!

If you, bluesash and jeanla4 are not sure if you can make it, how about we plan a different weekend in March when everyone can have plenty of notice? I am still up for the 26th but am ok with picking a later date too.

SOunds like another weekend might be best or maybe do a poll to see what works for most. That first March weekend isn't good since my IL's will be up for my BIL bday and we are going out on with them Friday and Saturday (Sunday maybe would work?).

I totally understand about not going to Clarendon alone....if you go I'll be up front (at least part of the night).
