Okay.... they moved out & I'M NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!

So... we got the house yesterday (Monday), Pete and I went there after work, and started walking around the house w/faces of & .... the carpets are ruined, the floors are disgusting, the house is filthy all over, and the worst friggin part..... THERE ARE ROACHES!

Could I be any more mad????? I hate bugs & I hate dirt even more than that.... I started working last night - said the he11 w/it to school, bought a tremendous amount of Clorox Clean-Up, and Windex cleaner w/Vinegar in it, Pine Sol.... the whole 9 yards...

Would you believe that it took me a half hour to clean one window - the window sills were black.... HOW DO PEOPLE LIVE LIKE THIS????????

Buy Spray 9, you can purchase it in Home Depot. When my mother moved into her house two years ago she used it, and the house was in bad shape. It took me 3 hours to clean the bathroom and it took her 2 hours to clean the stove, to find out it didnt work afterwards. Any way this product will make your life alot easier!

if there are roaches...definalty get an exterminator in!!! They can get rid of therm easier than the normal stuff!!

If you have stains on the countertop, try rubbing alcohol, it also cuts grease on the appliances.

If you have roaches have an exterminator come in asap. I don't want to gross you out anymore than you probably already are, but they may be living in the stove and other appliances. If you clean and
then have the exterminator come in, you will have to clean twice. Also you do not want to move in anything of yours until those buggies are gone! You can try do it yourself roach removers but they don't usually work with only one application. Exterminators are the only way to go.

Sorry to hear that they left you such a mess. Some people are such jerks.

Lisa that stinks Definitely get an exterminator in I have moved into many apartments and the people that left were so gross!!! Hang in there

I've found that soft soap with bleach takes out about anything - and I use it on all surfaces.

1. If there are roaches...definalty get an exterminator in ASAP Dont wast your time doing anything else until you get that problem elimianted.

2. If you can swing the $$ Call a professional cleaning service. It will be well worth the money you spend.

people are nasty, my moms last tenants moved out ion the middle of the night and left 2000lbs of garbage seriously and a coach that was invested with moths and she had two kids.

'There was a nasty 1 inch high ring around the garbage.

I would check with your lawyer. There should be money that had to be left in escrow, from the sellers, for some things. I am sure the cleaning is not covered, but you may be able to use that money for an exterminator for the roaches, and possible for some coverage on the carpets if they were not in that condition at the last walk through. Definetly check with your lawyer!
