Hey, if she thinks she can be the next 'Martha Stewart' I would love for her to run my wedding. She must be everything I would want, anal, perfectionist, etc... That is one ambitious lady! What an idea.

I think it's just weird.... but I wouldn't worry about it.

Sounds like a bizarre love story to me.

Don't be afraid of how weird some people can be... as long as she stays out of your way, and doesn't intrude on ur plans, don't even worry about it.

Good point! Those are perfect qualities for running a perfect wedding!

Though I will admit I find the entire story weird .. your wedding will be A-OK!

I guess Martha didn't take her up on it.

I'm sorry, but if Martha Stewart's company was run like the HTH, she would have ugly carpet and gold cherubs all over the place. And WAY too much gold foil and trim!

I know I'm getting married there, but that carpet is UGLY!

I think everyone where I looked at, including where I'm getting married, the carpet is UGLY. Something about LI I guess- everything was redone in teh early 80's

Exactly, I wouldn't want to be friends wuith her, but i'msure she's good at putting together an event, if she is that ambitous.

Thats so weird. I saw Rhonda Silver once on Maury Povich - she was giving a free wedding to a couple that went through hardships or something like that. I love the way the Huntington Townhouse looks but she herself is tacky looking!

OMG ladies .. I am laughing my arse off ... what IS it about the carpet everywhere? I really don't like the carpet at our reception hall either whatsoever!! I kept looking at it last week and making faces, and FH just told me 'Noone will be looking at the carpet, dear' (he's 'yes dear'ing me already! LOL)

OK, and I thought I was wierd. . . I love my hall because . . .
IT DOESN'T HAVE CARPET!
seriously, that was a criteria for me, a minor one, I would have caved if had to , but I was so happy with the hard wood floor.

Just found this online about Ronda Silver, the woman who runs Huntington Townhouse - this happened back in March:

I think it's weird, but kinda funny, and kinda tacky. Anyone else?

Kind of reminds me of when that strange guy Sam offered Donald Trump $250,000 to be able to work for him on the Apprentice finale!

ETS: OMG tourist - hahahaha I didn't realize it was you from Milleridge that wrote that, I just read what it said. Great minds think alike huh? We'll have to tell that that's one of the best things they've got going

Is that where the guy who got kicked off the Apprentice got his idea from?

If she runs your wedding like she would run Martha's company I'd say your wedding will be flawless. I'd say at best the woman is colorful.
