After I'm married, can I sign up for LIfamilies? I am a LI bride. FH and I live in MD, and FH's family is from Queens. I'm originally from MA, though. So there is no way I'm a LI family after I get married. But it's so much fun chatting. I don't know if we'll end up in LI in the long run, but would it be wierd to sign up there?

No - not weird at all - there are women here who dont live on LI, and arent even getting married here, but were from here originally - that is fine!!!

Just because you won't live on LI doesn't mean you can't relate to new family issues - new homes, trying to conceive, etc. I say join in the fun!

You don;t have to wailt until after you're married either..there are all kinds..married, not yet married, single, previously married, etc

I think it's a-okay if you post on LIF after your married! What made you pick LI for the wedding ifyou and FI are in MD and you are from MA?

FH's family is in Queens, so we wanted NY as a halfway point betwn MA and MD. But NYC is $$$ so we were looking and I saw JT online and fell in love. We started looking around LI near queens and chose JT.
