After I'm married, can I sign up for LIfamilies? I am a LI bride. FH and I live in MD, and FH's family is from Queens. I'm originally from MA, though. So there is no way I'm a LI family after I get married. But it's so much fun chatting. I don't know if we'll end up in LI in the long run, but would it be wierd to sign up there?

You don't need to post about family issues on LIF. One of the very popular boards is NFR. LIF also has boards for recipes, pets, and homes. I don't live on LI, but I post on LIF. Also, there are plenty of single people and brides on LIF.

yeah, i guess my issue with it is that I'm not associated with long island after the wedding
