so i keep reading these posts about stains on dresses, so i will share my story. i purchased my gown from bridal reflections, massapequa. i had wonderful service while trying on gown, and when my dress came in this past november i went to try it on. the girl helping me was also very nice.
when i tried on the dress, i noticed it had a blue pen mark on the front of the dress. when i told the girl she said they could get it out. and i left it at that.
now after reading all of these posts, i am wondering if i should go in tomorrow and ask them to remove it now? my fittings wont happen until september.

I definitely would have them remove it ASAP. The longer the pen mark sits there the more the stain will set. And if they can't get it out, they still have time to order you a new dress.

damn, i feel like an idiot ! i was there with my mom and fmil, and i didnt want to make a scene in front of them. i will definitely go tomorrow and see what they will do.

I FEEL SO BAD FOR YOU GIRLS THAT GOING THROUGH THIS!!!! I THINK I WOULD BE IN A PAIC ATTACK IF THIS HAPPENS TO ME! EVERY TIME I GO WE GO OVER MY DRESS TO MAKE SURE... AND FOR THE DAY OF MY WEDDING I AM A BAD PERSON TO BE WEARING WHITE BELEIVE IT OR NOT I WILL BE WEARING A BIB WHEN I EAT AND I WILL COVER MY DRESS WHILE IN THE LIMO!!! THE NIGHTMARES I HAVE BEEN HAVING MADE ME WANT TO DO THIS!!!

What in the heck are all of these people doing to your dresses????? It's seems strange that the dresses are getting all of these marks on the.. SHouldn't they be covered and hung up.. hmm???

I am freAKIN OUT TO AS i JUST ORDERED MY DRESS FROM THERE TO AND DESPITE WHAT MOST PEOPLE SAID I WENT TO THAT SALON AS I FIGURED I WOULD GIVE THEM A CHANCE... I MUST SAY THEY WERE GREAT... THEY CATERED TO ME HAND AND FOOT AS A MATTER OF FACT TWO CONSULTANTS WERE WORKING WITH ME AND TWO WERE ALSO ASSISTING AS THEY WEREW PASSING BY..THEY SPENT QUALITY TIME WITH ME AND i STOPPED BY SPURATIC AND THEY WERE AGAIN WONDERFUL.. i REALLY HOPE i DO NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS DRAMA... i REALLY FEEL SORRY FOR THE YOUNG LADIES WITH THE SITUATIONS GOING ON NOW AND i WILL PRAy for you as you do not want this to ruin your day and lets face it the dress is muy importante... anyway I am not screaming despite the font I read the email and just started pressing buttons b reflection women lets stay calm cool and collected and pray for one another or what ever you do to focus

I went today and asked the saleswoman if i can see my dress. they were very accomodating as i did not have an appointment. i inspected the dress very carefully and i did not see any pen marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the saleswoman said that they probably cleaned it after i tried it on. i was very happy!!!!!!!!!!
thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad things worked out well for you. I am however, very disappointed to hear that they did not offer you some type of discount when the stain was first discovered. I hope at the very least they were extremely apologetic.

Sorry about your stain...we are now officially stainmates :) ....However, one thing Bridal Reflections is good at is ,GETTING ALL THE STAINS OUT ...lol, ...they are experts...
You know what they say, ....Practice Makes Perfect :) LOL
