Okay, you have one day to go to a bunch of halls...

where do you go? I have been to six already with my fiancé, but he has given up! Okay, to be fair he is in law school and has several papers to write so tomorrow I am checking out some places with my sister. I've been to Carltun on the Sound, Sans Souci, The Woodlands, Leonard's, The Roslyn Claremont Hotel and The Harbor Club in Huntington. I am planning on going to the Milleridge tomorrow and maybe Carlyle on the Green although I think it's out of my budget. Any suggestions for other appointments we should set up? Preferably near one another?

Thanks ladies!

what's the price range you are looking for and day of the week. I'm sure some LI brides can make suggestions or save you from wasting your time at ones out of your price range.

I'm a Saturday night sucker. I would really prefer to spend less than $150 pp INCLUSIVE of tax and gratuity, but who knows.

You should check out the Sand Castle in Franklin Square, especially since you're looking to book a Saturday night. They have a deal that if you book a Sat night wedding of 250 or more you get a honeymoon package free- 10 nights at their resort in Crete.

The food (esp CH and Venetian hour) is amazing.

THe Swan Club
The metropolitan
Westbury Manor
Fox Hollow
Woodbury Country Club..

THe first two gave me the best prices for a Sat. night even though I chose Sun afternoon. What kind of wedding are you looking for?

You should try:

North Ritz Club
Fox Hollow
woodbury country club
crest hollow country club
Stewart Manor
Cresent - might be out of price range, but def. worth a shot ... the place is gorgeous!
Sandcastles - great deal and good food, I don't like the outside atmosphere off of main rd and no greenery like others on your list.

It seems like you want nassua county. If you are willing to go to suffolk, there are many pretty places.

Try here: you can search by county

Hahaha! The Crescent told me $185 PLUS tax and gratuity. I am trying for Nassau since a lot of people will be coming from Connecticut and I don't want to have them go too far.

Thanks for the lists!

I'm trying to hit up as many as possible on Sat. Here is my list:
The Carltun
The Riviera
The Carltun on the Sound
Harrison House
Metropolitan

Do you mind if I ask what you thought of Carltun on the Sound or Sans Souci?

You can easily stay under $150 pp at Woodbury CC on a Saturday night.

I'm not sure what the night weddings are at the North Ritz but for a Saturday afternoon it was $100 after tax & gratuity. Also, something to consider - which is most of the reason why I chose NRC, is because they do one wedding at a time. I also visited many places that were very very nice but one of the things that was important to me was that mine was the only wedding going on. hope this helps.. www.northritzclub.com

Hi I am going to go book at Sand Castle--Def visit great deals and free 10 night stay at a resort in Greece--food is delicious been there many times--outdoor gardens and great vienese plus the new chocolate fountain--Floral Terrace is good too same owners and 1 affair- we chose sand castle over floral terrace because we liked the decor better! I would suggest not bringing him along initially, and once you've narrowed it down to a lesser amount, bring him along. I found that this really prevents the whinning! LOL.

Harrison House is a lot more than $150pp on a Sat. night. I believe Carltun is as well.

When I looked at the Carltun, they wanted over 200/person for a saturday night and not much less then that for a sunday night..

You should be able to get Milleridge for this during August. You'll be looking at the Cottage or Carriage House? (Cottage = 200 min for Sat night, Carriage House much less)
