Okay...Slowly starting to FREAK!

So as most of you know my mom burned my veil and i had to order a new one of Ebay. I messaged the seller saying I would pay extra for shipping but they never responded So I paid them right away and I got an email that they printed a shipping label two days later and it gave me the tracking #..this is what it said today

What does this meeeeeeean???!!!!!???? Have they not shipped it yet? I messaged asking if it was shipped but I havent gotten a response yet.

Its being shipped first class from Cali. Do you think it'll make it??

It's ok, don't panic. USPS only updates once a day at the end of the day, like midnight I think. I ship lots of packages, that just means it was dropped off yesterday. You won't see any change today even if it has left the post office. You may see something tomorrow and that will only indicate that it left the post office but not that it's on it's way...do you follow? Basically, USPS notifications are going to be a day behind where they actually are. So you'll probably see when it's going to arrive not until the actual day instead of the day before.

ETA: Do you know if they shipped it priority or just regular?

I've gotten this message in the past and from what I know it means they shipped it on May 20th. The post office is the worst at updating their tracking online, so you will probably just get it tomorrow without it ever updating online. Do you know how they shipped it.. prority, regualr mail, etc?

right, but then there's designations beyond that, like priority which is 3 days...overnight.....if it's regular first class then I don't know but I think you should def. get it by Sat.

I wouldn't stress too much -- I am sure it will be here. Not like the day before your wedding you want to be getting a veil but worse come to worse could you run somewhere Saturday and buy one? Davids or somewhere -- I am sure they sell them off the rack.

that's just regular...I think. I'm sure it should get there by Saturday. I want to say try not to stress about it but I know that's impossible. Just try to work on other stuff in the meantime so you can take your mind off of it coming.

A lot of times when I have something shipped from USPS, they dont update the status until after I receive the package.

you can borrow my veil if you'd like if need be....

yea im going to have to but early cuz my rehearsal lunch is at 3.

dont panic!!!! i am sure it will be here in time.....
worse case scenerio i am sure one of us can help you out if you really get stuck....
i have a white 2 tier fingertip length veil with the white sewn edge if you need it, just let me know
