Ok...I'm stressing...need advice

I have my friend's bridal shower this weekend (I'm the MOH). The last time I spoke with her mom, she said that the BMs only had to take care of decorations, favors, invites, centerpieces, prizes, etc. and she along with the bride-to-be's stepmother and FMIL would take care of the food (the big expense).

Well, I have a funny feeling my friend's mom never spoke with the FMIL and Stepmom about the cost. My FH says I shouldn't open my mouth, because then we (as in my FH and I) may end up having to pay for this in the end. He says 'if she told you only to worry about the decorations, etc., then that's all you have to worry about. Opening your mouth is only going to cost us.'

So do I bring it up with her? Or do like FH says 'say nothing and make sure you don't bring your credit cards this weekend'?

Tough call but I'd say don't say anything but I'd bring a credit card just in case but tell no one that you have it. I wouldn't want to worry about my friends shower being ruined due to lack of communication on someone elses part. Good Luck!

I wouldnt say anything and dont bring CC or money, like you said
you cant have everything on your shoulders or have everything fall on you!

Bring the credit card/money just incase and say nothing....at least you will be at ease having it incase something does happen. But your fh is right don't say anything to them....I am sure everything will work out for the best!!
