Oklahoma. . .

Oklahoma. . .

. . . where the winds come whippin' 'round the plains!

Has anyone lived/visited OK? Tulsa, specifically?

I'm off to live there for a few weeks -- FH has a short term job. And -- I hate to admit it, but -- I'm not really excited about it. Guess I'm just too much of a New Yorker.

I'm sure I'll be here even more when I'm stuck out on the plains (with only my school work to keep me company ), so if anyone knows anything about the city/area and can recommend some places to go -- I would really appreciate it.

TIA!!!

I went to OK once when I was about 12. I remember this cowboy museum with an Indian on a horse that was absolutely gigantic. I knew people that went out to OK for college and they loved it. I would venture over to the knot OK board and see what people have to say there. Good luck.

HA HA! I went there for ONE day and it was enough!! We went to the HOMETOWN of Will rogers.. It was awful.. very bad food.

However we just flew out of tulsa. I didn't see much of it.. but I missed my plane so therefore i Hate Tulsa!

It was pretty in OK. It was windy and we saw some fun animals on our drive. It will be okay. Just seriously.. don't eat thier 'italian' food.. or anything called lamb fries or turkey fries.. I asked what they were in a restraunt.. BAD NEWS!!!
